Good for any purpose where reduction in pipe, or dowel diameter is needed
Tripod is not recommended as safe (IMO) if it must be attacked to a metal roof that does not have wood beams, and/or thick wooden plywood beneath it - otherwise - you will forever compromise the waterproof aspect of the roof, and have leaks to ruin your ceiling and other under things.

Fits and it’s sturdy and heavy and not flimsy. Can be staked to ground if needed. Works perfect for camping keeping dish off ground.
