Bought for itx build pc. Tried a slim version but this is better, great gusts of air relatively quietly. Splendid.

I chose this over the quieter version as it had a more similar airflow performance at full speed to the OEM CPU fan in my Dell Optiplex. Very glad I did, as it can keep temperatures below thermal throttling levels while being far, far quieter than the original fan. At idle or while doing basic tasks like browsing or office work, it’s all but silent - certainly quieter than a HDD. And during intensive work like encoding or gaming, it’s about 50% quieter. A great upgrade.

Works well, had one though which was producing weird sound (returned). Noise is ok if you don't go more than 2500rpm. For antything over it you get server room experience. Saying that - it is nice to have extra power to go up to 5000 in case you need it.

Superb fan. So quiet you can barely hear it. Easy to fit and has a good length of power cable too, enabling it to fit in any area of your case. Also comes with the screws for fitment.

The box states the contents should be 1 80mm high performance PWM Fan and 4 screws ... There were *zero* screws. The fan is advertised as 0dB at < 5% PWM .... I couldn't verify this as the fan appears uncontrollable by the Lenovo BIOS on the Sharkbay motherboard (even on the acoustically optimised setting) so it spins at the max 5000rpm .... It certainly does the job cooling but the airflow sounds like every data centre I've been in .... If all were combined at the same time. I tried unsuccessfully to control it with the Speedfan utility too. Nice job Arctic ! Given the role of the fan though is to control the temps I can't deny it does that so I will give a generous three stars for effort !

Exactly what I needed on my build

Pression statique (le critère n°1 pour moi sur mon projet) ≈ 5,3 mmH₂O, donc très puissant. Je le mets à 60%. Il est très silencieux a cette vitesse. Si vous le mettez à 100% il fera du bruit (très supportable), mais on ne lui demande pas d'être silencieux mais puissant et il fait le job!

good value. I only get range 1500-4600RPM (PWM 25%-100%) in my high-static? application as exhaust fan for a stuffed small drive rack (the Rack-Choice with 5 removeable trays). This fan is supposed to run down to 500RPM but I have never seen that. This fan is excellent to replace the noisy OEM IFF you route the fan control out of the drive rack, to a separate fan controller like the motherboard or a manual PWM fan-control card or dial. This fan is not really happy with 0-12v control since it tends to gallop (speeds up and down in a cycle that varies with voltage, typically full-cycle 5-10seconds, but it is not loud). I assume the fan internal PWM drive circuit is dropping dead and waking up when you lower the 12v supply voltage. PWM control is as-expected, good. At 100% this fan is plenty loud and flow is good, but I do not need that, except for calibration and emergencies. Good PWM fan for active temperature control with high-static, keeps the noise down most times.

excellent swap out for lower-power server setups. much quieter than the stock fans, use less power so they happy to run multiple off a single regular motherboard header, but they still max out near 5000RPM without excessive noise for quite good airflow. Seems like a perfect upgrade for 80mm server builds that don't need jet engine airflow but still need more than a Noctua 80mm would offer without adding much more noise. Time will tell how reliable they are, but i've used Arctic in the past in normal builds and they lived the life of the machine, but in a hot 24/7 server it might be a different story. we will see.
