COIN UNIQUE 10p-2p MAGIC TRICK [MAGIC VANISHING 10p COIN]

This was the first trick I ever bought and performed, because it works so well it helps to build the confidence of any starting out in Magic. I have performed it now hundreds of times and it has never let me down. Just be really careful to always keep it separate from your other change, I work in a gaming arcade where 2p's are used in most of the machines, have lost it once in amongst £10 worth of 2p,s! The first one I had of these worked well, this one however, even after some use is difficult to use, the magnet is too strong and the slightly rough edges make it both hard to snap together and hard to get apart. Anyone one using one of these should keep a small magnet (I have one sewn into my pocket) in order to secretly separate the two pieces.

The strength of the PK effect can cause a few difficulties with setup but with practice easily overcome.A hint, did you know with practice an identical looking authentic 10p piece can be used as the reset device and with some extra performance this can be a very useful addition to expand on the effects possible, such as a coin disappearing in one hand and appearing in another.

Not bad in terms of value for money. However, this set is very strong magnetically, so the swirling glass vanish is not possible - they either fly apart or they stay rested, but refuse to nest together (tried a variety of surfaces). I’ve had a non-magnetic £1/1p version for years which works beautifully for the glass vanish - but being the old £1 currency I was hoping this 10p/2p set would be an ideal replacement. It’s fine for an in the hand vanish but not the table top glass vanish - which is a shame. The quality of the coins is very high though - undetectable when nested and comes with a small magnet to separate.

This is a superb product . I have done this trick for grandchildren and adult friends . Very entertaining and everyone is amazed
