I have super chewer dogs and they destroy toys within minutes. My dogs destroyed the top of this toy pretty quickly but the rope part is durable and they’re still working on that.It’s such a beautifully made toy and would make a nice gift. The bottom is durable enough for a fun game of tug of war with your pup.

This rope toy is great for our miniature poodle puppies. They love fighting over it, tugging it, chewing it and just dragging it around. It has held up well with them, but they are small and not as strong as an adult. I don’t plan on finding out but I’m pretty sure that their mother would have this chewed to nothing in no time. She is a super chewer, and nothing lasts with her so that isn’t anything against this toy other than to say that it probably isn’t for all dogs or at least not long-term fun for all dogs. For our puppies it’s terrific and has already provided hours of entertainment for both them and our family.

But the 11 month old goldendoodle ate through that rope in 3 minutes. Then managed to pull of parts of the rope to chew on. Into the trash it goes.

My little dog loves playing fetch with this toy. She chews on it for hours and it is still in one piece. Some of the rope strands have frayed but it’s not an issue, I just trim them off so she doesn’t eat them. As with all her toys I inspect them daily for her safety. I recommend this for small to medium pups.

It is somewhat durable. With my chewer, she had it chewed up in a week. The rope was undone. The only thing she saved was the bear cause it squeaks. She loved it and still carries the bear around lol.
