As a new baker, and is someone who is trying out sourdough bread making for the first time, I bought the scale to help me with my measurements because a lot of the recipes I saw were measured in grams. Also measuring with a scale tends to be more accurate. The scale is quite sensitive, and I found that I use it not just for baking, but also to measure out my ingredients for seasoning and sauces when I cook, mostly out of curiosity, but I also have never been able to replicate recipes as consistently as when I had the scale. This scale has a whole function which allows you to take your time with the measurement prepping. It comes with its own plastic, measuring tray and charging cord as well as battery power operates on both. I love that it’s portable It also store as well in a drawer

This scale replaces a different brand purchased 9 years ago that was running quickly through batteries. This scale can be recharged - or connected to power via a cable (USB-C), which is helpful when you are in the middle of a recipe. It also has a % option as well as Tare function. And you can recalibrate if ever necessary, and includes a weight for that purpose. Large screen that is not blocked by your bowl. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is THE best scale in the world in my book. I have used this scale for over a year now. Still as good and reliable as day one.If I was given a $500 scale as a gift, I would still use this one. The batteries! Options! Options! Options! I wish other electronics combined a built in battery, PLUS extra batteries, PLUS running off a plug. Why don't other companies take advantage of this? Its so cool. This thing ALWAYS turns on. Always!The built in weight is something most scales dont have but this does. It stowes away nicely and never gets lost. It has a large platform and there are SO MANY measuring units!I liked this scale so much, I had an unlimited budget to get my sister a scale, and I chose this one for her. This scale is a true gem. I have used it for small measurements, big measurements. Medical purposes, for mail, for gems. And even used it for weighing industrial parts and large items. You could use this to measure salt, or something as big as a small to medium size briefcase (under 5kg).From what I can tell accuracy has always been on point. Its amazing the scale range. Honestly, I buy alot of stuff, and this is the hallmark of value. A true hidden gem in internet land. Every once in awhile, you can find a grandslam on Amazon or chinese branded products. This is a Grandslam. I cannot recommend enough. This should be standard issue for every American household.Neither of the 2 units have ever given me problems. As mentioned before, the one I bought has been kicked around and used for over a year. Still going strong. I have never once turned it on and have it not turn on. It always has power. No issues. None. I cannot think of a single negative. This scale is a 15 out of 10.This is... The BEST scale.Period.

The scale is very well designed and convenient to use. It's just the right size and accuracy for a home kitchen. I really like the convenient weighing dish, that rests on top, when not in use. All the controlls are easy to use. It's easy to wipe clean. And with the self callibration option, assures continuing accuracy. The only exception, the included counting function is little confusing. But I don't use it, so it doesn't bother me.

Wow, the description states large and I read the measurements, but it is BIG.No beeps, still deciding if I like that or not, pros both ways.It seems extremely accurate, it scaled the included weight perfectly happy.Overall very happy!

Between cooking and baking I need a heavy duty scale for everyday use. Asking for a decent kitchen scale shouldn't seem like a big deal, but most aren't well thought out. This one....Where to begin how awesome it is. Battey or plug in, can take plenty of weight, auto on/off toggle, large surface so big plates and bowles dont block the lcd, easy to clean metal surface, lightweight, tares and turns on quickly (A huge deal), calibrated perfectly, plenty lf other weight options. No to see how well it holds up. So far amazing scale at a solid price as well.

If you bake cakes or are into the sourdough craze, this scale is wonderful!! It comes with a 100g weight to be assured the weight is accurate, but most important to any baker is the auto shut off can be disabled!! It has a large area to weigh, big bright display, runs with batteries or charging cord and more weight units than the average home baker will use. I highly recommend this digital scale.

Pros: comes with a 100g steel weight so you know they’re confident when it comes to their calibration. You can place the weight and it will show 100.0 grams. Super cool.Cons: the readout of the weight seems to take a bit longer than my OXO scale. And it also takes some time for final adjustment. For example, if I place a 20.3g item, it will go 20.7->20.5->20.3So after placing the item, you have to wait just a tiny bit more than other scales for its final answer.This has been a small but a bit annoying issue.I trust its accuracy though so it might be a tradeoff you’d be willing to accept.
