A requirement for getting up from a lower sitting position. I attached it to a hurri-cane. It went on smoothly. I noticed it can be turned or repositioned if no weight is put on it, but with the handle down and force applied, it holds fast in place. I have put some serious force on it (I'm a big guy) and it holds up. Solid construction. When folded, it works well to hang on a chair or table edge keeping it out of the way.

Works so well. Easy to attach to a cane. Great product.

Does work for him but slides down with to much pressure. He put a screw on it to keep it from sliding and it worked.

Loved it the bottom part gets hooked sometimes on days but well worth it and from below position helps me up very easily with it.

There are canes that have this fold down handle built in. I have several canes so this add-on handle works well. Fold handle down to stand up from the sitting position especially with weak knees. It also doubles as a cane hanger behind chairs or tabletops. Bought 3 to retrofit my walking canes.
