Good option to mount a studio type mic for a desk
I initially had my microphone mounted to my desk and I was picking up too much noise from the desk so I bought this wall mount and it was easy to install and works great.

strong enough for a heavy Audix CX-101
Supplied template allowed for precision mounting. It's very nice.

A bit flimsy plastic that holds arm.
Hope it holds up with repeated use, flimsy plastic that holds mic arm.

It's okay (great customer service)
The media could not be loaded. EDIT 7/16/22: The seller told me they were sending the new version. I have yet to receive it so I still cannot speak on the changes. I will be knocking this back down to 3 stars as I believe that is what the product I received is worth getting.EDIT 4/10/22: The seller has been communicating with me on improving the product, so I'm giving them 1 more star for customer service. Supposedly they have made some revisions to the product following my feedback, and I will be sure to speak on that when I can.---Original 3 star review 03/22:This wall mount is just okay. I haven't tried the other ones on Amazon, because I knew they were weak. I have a Shure SM7B mounted on a large (two 19 inch arms) boom mic stand, so I needed the added strength. It does the job, but I have some gripes with it.My one suggestion is to immediately throw away the provided wall anchors and grab yourself some toggle anchors (OR install on a wall stud). I didn't even use the provided anchors and tried some beefier plastic ones rated for 115 lbs. Those didn't work because the top one immediately ripped out. Then I tried some toggle anchors rated for 120 lbs and it did the trick. When moving the mic stand, practically all of the weight is on the top bolt so that will be the one to go first. Also, there is slight flex in the triangular arm. It's probably not a big deal, but it has me worried about longevity. I attached a video showing the flex. The last thing is that the provided plastic sleeve for the stand to slide into is not 0.52" as noted in the product description. It is smaller than 1/2 inch and I couldn't use it.Besides those issues, the mount looks nice on the wall and will do the trick (as long as I don't move my mic too often).

Cleaned Up My Desk Wonderfully
I'd been using a desk mounting clamp for my mic arm for so long and I'm very happy to have moved onto this wall mount. This keeps the arm nice and tucked away off my desk while I'm not using it. The arm I have does require the assembly to be rotated as to not have the arm's elbow ram the wall, but that's no fault of the mount. It comes with all screws and drywall anchors. The construction is metal and sturdy. Very good product.

Poorly engineered. Anchors didn't hold. Screw head sheared off with hand screw driver.
Extremely poorly engineered. While the wall plate/arm themselves felt fairly well-designed, the screws were of poor quality, with one screw head shearing off with use of a hand screw driver into a wall stud, and another stripped quickly. The anchors, absolutely did not hold the screw in place, and you could pretty much pull the screw right out.

Works Great
I stream with it and it allows me the versatility to move the mic back out of the way when I need to.
