I love it. I'm a small person, but the medium size belt is just right.

The decorative part is shorter than it appears in the pictures. Pretty, but not suitable for a person with an average-sized waist.

When looking at the length listed in the posting, I expected the strings at either end to be included in the length of the whole belt, but for a belt longer than 60 inches, I expected the actual macrame section to be longer. Mine measures at 28.5 inches of macrame, several inches less than half the length of the belt. This was not listed anywhere in the posting or in any reviews I saw. I needed the belt for an upcoming musical, but I'm going to have to try to return it.2 stars because the macrame does look good, it's just very short.

Received this and upon opening it, it put off a horrible smell. I aired it out overnight hoping that would help but woke up to the odor filling the air of my house like a dirty barn with artificial additives. I do not even know what could make it smell so bad and so strong. Do not even think it's safe to wear.

A very nice belt, just as pictured. The material is good -- a sturdy, waxed cord that looks like cotton, with wooden beads at intervals. The macrame-style weaving is even and well done. My only complaint was that when I unpackaged it, it had a VERY strong, musty smell, as if it had been in a moldy basement for years. I almost returned it, but thought I'd wait and see. After just a couple of days, the smell has disappeared, so perhaps it was just in the packaging. Now I'm very happy with this belt.
