Q: Can door attach to hinge base already in place or must the hinge base be replaced as well?

This weir assembly did not match up as expected. The hinge base for mine was permanent and part of the complete skimmer. I had to grinde the original down and drill new holes for the new hinge base. Now it works as expected but a real pain to get to this point.
