I bought this watch for my daughter for Christmas, she is delighted with her gift, does everything she wanted,would recommend, good size easy to read . Easy to set up.

This was a christmas gift for my daughter who informs me that the watch is comfortable to wear and does everything she hoped it would.

Bought this for xmas, my 7yo loved it but I couldn't connect or use the app without allowing access to my social media and email accounts etc which my 7yo absolutely doesn't need access to, so that was frustrating as meant i couldn't use the app at all! Then after a couple of weeks it stopped charging, so I'm having to return. The sleep tracker wasn't accurate, nor was the step counter, but the watch was loved by my son, he loved using the timer to time things, and to tell us the time, and he's really sad it's now broken!

Die Mgaolo Kinder Smart Watch für Jungen und Mädchen ist eine vollwertige handelsübliche Smartwatch, die in Größe, Form und der Möglichkeit, sie in vier farblich unterschiedlichen an Kinder angepasste Armbänder zu bestellen. Im “Operating Guide“ ist u.a. auch auf Deutsch beschrieben, wie man die dazugehörige App über Google Play oder den IOS Store herunterlädt. Am besten den QR-Code in der gedruckten Anleitung scannen. Der Rest läuft automatisch ab. Die Smart Watch funktioniert aber auch ohne Nutzung der App. Ich empfehle allerdings, die App zu installieren und über Bluetooth mit der Uhr zu verbinden. Dort ist die Uhr unter „H39R“ zu finden und zu koppeln. Über die App werden ihre vielen Funktionen und Anzeigen automatisch auf die gewünschte Sprache, eben auch Deutsch, eingestellt. Zahlreiche weitere Ziffernblätter lassen sich hier herunterladen und auf die Uhr übertragen. Direkt in der Uhr gibt es nur fünf Ziffernblätter zur Auswahl. Außer der Meldung von Telefonanrufen funktionieren alle Aktivitätstracker und Messungen auch ohne Verbindung zur Uhr. Ich habe die App wieder gelöscht, weil es besser ist, dass Kinder ohne App selbst mit der Uhr durch Ausprobieren vertraut werden. Es gibt natürlich für Eltern auch die Möglichkeit, die App auf ihrer Smartwatch zu installieren. Dann besteht die Möglichkeit, Tochter oder Sohn in gewisser Weise zu „überwachen“, Sie bekommen die zurückgelegten Schritte, die Herzfrequenz, Körpertemperatur und weitere Informationen fortlaufend übermittelt. Ich habe Eltern aus der Nachbarschaft befragt, ob sie die Uhr schon für ihre sechsjährige Tochter als geeignet betrachten. Sie meinten, das wäre noch etwas zu früh. Dann hat sie ein zehnjähriger Junge für mich getestet, der kam nach kurzer Zeit gut damit zurecht und war begeistert. Als Einstieg in die Welt der Smartwatches halte ich die Mgaolo Smart Watch, auch angesichts des angemessenen Preises und guter Verarbeitung, für Kinder ab 8 Jahren geeignet. Dafür fünf Sterne.

Ich wollte schon lange mal eine Smartwatch ausprobieren. Besonders Schritt- und Pulszähler finde ich total spannend. Doch die meisten Designs sind mir zu klobig. Die Kinder-Smartwatch von Mgaolo erschien mir dezenter. Und ja, ein wenig flacher wirkt sie auch. Dennoch ist sie immer noch recht groß.Aber sie muss ja auch eine gewisse Größe haben, damit man über das Touchpad navigieren kann. Das klappt auch ganz gut. Nach ein wenig Herumgeteste und Spielerei fand ich alle Einstellungen und Informationen intuitiv. Allerdings argerte ich mich darüber, dass ich keine Möglichkeit fand, schrittweise zurück zu gehen. Vom Unterpunkt kann man mittels des seitlichen Knopfes jederzeit zurück zum Startbildschirm gelangen. Jedoch nicht zum Menüpunkt vor dem Unterpunkt.Noch viel, viel nerviger fand ich die Herstellung der Bluetooth-Verbingung. Ich scheiterte immer wieder kläglich. Bootete die Bluetooth-Einstellungen. Startete mein Smartphone neu. Ärgerte mich hin und her. Irgendwann klappte es. Im Nachhinein gehe ich davon aus, dass die Uhr noch nicht ausreichend aufgeladen war. Wenn Ihr also ähnliche Probleme habt, gebt ihr noch ein wenig Zeit.Zum Aufladen benötigt die Uhr ein Magnetladekabel. Ein passendes USB-Kabel liegt dem Set bei. Wer über Steckdose laden will, benötigt noch ein USB-Netzteil.Ich installierte mir die App, um alle Aspekte der Uhr auszuprobieren. Die App konnte mich aber so gar nicht überzeugen. Ihr Mehrwert hält sich arg in Grenzen. Für mich bietet da allein die Auswertung von Bewegung, Herzfrequenz und Schlaffrequenz über einen längeren Zeitraum einen gewissen Reiz. Nötig ist das aber echt nicht. Da überwiegt mein Grausen vor der ständigen Übertragung und Speicherung von persönlichen Daten, so dass ich die App sehr schnell wieder deinstallierte.Die Nachrichtenerinnerung von Smartphone zu Uhr via Bluetooth funktioniert auch ohne App. Jedoch nur, wenn das Handy recht nah ist, z.B. in der Jackentasche oder auf dem Tisch neben einem. Die Nachrichtenfunktion mag ich. Denn ich finde es ziemlich unhöflich bei einem Treffen dauernd aufs Handy zu gucken oder ständig von einem Brumm- oder Ping-Geräusch abgelenkt zu werden. Der kurze Blick auf die Uhr zeigt, ob es etwas Wichtiges ist, oder ob es warten kann. Auch über Anrufe wird informiert. Annehmen kann man sie aber nicht über die Uhr. Auch Nachrichten kann man nicht schreiben. Sie liefert nur die Informationen.Was die Uhr für mich spannend machte, war besonders der Schlafmonitor, welcher Tiefschlaf, leichten Schlaf und Wachzeit anzeigt sowie Schrittzähler und Pulskontrolle. Stoppuhr und Wecker finde ich auch nützlich.Der Schrittzähler scheint zuverlässig zu funktionieren. Auch der Pulsmesser liefert für mich nachvollziehbare Werte. Der Schlafmonitor scheiterte aber auf ganzer Linie. Nachdem er ich mehrere Nächte mieserabelst schlief, die meiste Zeit wach lag und er mir morgens ruhige Schlafphasen und vorbildlichen Tiefschlaf anzeigte, pfefferte ich die Uhr gereizt in die Ecke. Was sie überlebte. Nur so nebenbei…Auch die ein oder andere Dusche überstand sie unbeschadet.Auch positiv: Der Akku hält echt lange. Mindestens vier Tage ohne Probleme. Das einzige was ich von einer herkömmlichen SmartWatch zu dieser spezifisch ausgezeichneten Kinder SmartWatch unterscheidet, sind die Farben. Größe und Funktionen sind identisch mit anderen smartwatches. Beschrieben wurde und lässt sich recht einfach über Bluetooth mit der passenden App verbinden. Die qualitative Verarbeitung ist smartwatches angepasst und der Preis ist okay
