What is the true depth? will lever arch files fit in this cupboard stright and not angled?

Only one shelf of lever arch files possible. The internal height is 67cm, less 2cm for the adjustable shelf. I have mine set up as 38cm top shelf (OK for lever arch files) and 27cm bottom shelf. Other than that it is a good cupboard, easy to assemble.

Is the shelf removable?

Yes. 5 alternative heights, plus can be removed altogether.
