My dog seems more comfortable in this muzzle than a rubber one. Only downside is that it needs to be a little longer in the muzzle, maybe half an inch. Otherwise very nice muzzle.

FYI- All straps and padding is vinyl. The metal cage is well made, but the strap-tightening feature needs a 2-sided snap buckle. If the strap is run through the metal buckle once, it comes loose and the cage falls below the nose. Then the dog wants to chew the inside vinyl padding. If the strap is run through the buckle once then folded back to go through half the buckle again it will hold. Also, if your dog tries to remove the muzzle by swiping furniture it could cause damage to household items.

The muzzle is not long enough.

Bought this to hopefully keep our shepsky quiet. The product works well and is very durable so she cannot paw it off. A+++ buy.

This is a very nice dog muzzle. The size is a little big for my pomsky but it still stops him from biting. It's easy to put on him and secures really well. The metal basket is really nice.

Way to small and does not have the correct measurements. Strap is flemsy and cheap, can easly get out of it, as it has no security.

This muzzle looked good before I ordered it, but it turned out to be way too short when it arrived. The metal cage is of good quality, and there is no way the dog can bite someone when wearing it, but being able to put it on at all is more important than the rigidity of the cage. My dog's snout is too long for this to fit properly, so I wasn't going to try and force it on. Also, my dog is not extremely large or anything. He is a one year old medium sized breed. The other thing I don't like about this muzzle is the straps that are used to secure the cage onto the dog are made of thin and cheap leather (or plastic made to resemble leather?). These are not sturdy at all, and they can snap easily if pulled on with a little bit of effort. So if a dog gets uncomfortable and begins trying to pull off the muzzle, he just might be able to because of the weak straps.I'm really disappointed in this. It is too small and the straps are too thin for it to fit safely on my dog. If you have a poodle or something of that size, then this will be just fine for you. German shepherd or above and I say look elsewhere. Or if you have one of those dogs with a really wide face, this will also not fit them.
