Perfect size for 1 - 2 people and works superbly - and doesn't stick!
This is my 3rd rice cooker. I like the superb rice you get from a rice cooker, the convenience of just needing to switch it on, walk away, and wait for the click; the fact that it is superbly efficient for electrical current usage, and the joy of having negligible washing up to do afterwards. My first one (Asda own brand) worked fine for a few years although it was inclined to stick a bit at the bottom. It died after I accidentally left it on for a few days.I replaced that with another Asda one which I've been using for a few years. Rice had always stuck to the bottom more than with its predecessor, but recently the sticking at the bottom had become so bad it was becoming quite wasteful so I decided to look into getting a new one. This rice cooker was in the price range I was prepared to pay, had the bonus of a wee steamer tray addon which I might use occasionally, but best of all, it was also the right size. I live alone so I don't need a family size rice cooker.I was most impressed that not even a single grain of rice was stuck to the bottom of the pan at the end of the cycle, unlike my previous two rice cookers.I heartily recommend this rice cooker for 1 -2 people. Maybe 3 if you don't all have big appetites!Just passing on a few tips from having used rice cookers for a few years...Every rice cooker I've seen is ON and starts to get hot the moment it is plugged in the mains so I recommend you label the plug so you can see at a glance when it's plugged in, and you make a point of unplugging it the instant your rice is served, so you don't forget to unplug it afterwards. Also, do remember to plop your rice in a sieve and rinse in cold tap water to wash away the starch before you put it in the rice cooker. I also add roughly a tablespoon of olive/sunflower oil with the rice and water. If adding vegetables, e.g. frozen veg, they should be cooked separately and stirred in after the rice has cooked otherwise it will affect how well the rice cooks.

Just stopped working with smell of burnt plastic
The media could not be loaded. After 9 months of light usage, the rice cooker just unexpectedly stopped working. We had to unplug it as it was starting to smell of burnt plastic. Contacted the seller for replacement

It's okay.
It's great to have in your small apartment or dorm if you live alone. You might need to wait a bit after it's fully cooked, so the rice don't stuck in the pot. But it is easy to clean, and don't take too much time to cook.

Lovely rice cooker!
This is my 3rd rice cooker... (I cant cook rice in a pan) my 1st got dropped in oil (dont ask) but it looked like this one, but white and still worked, just the button went. my 2nd was one with a permanently attached lid, never get one of those, you cant clean it properly >_<...Now I have this and I love this make, throw all the cooking parts in a dishwasher, it's light and is small enough to put in my small storage space.I got this one also for it's steamer, and I'm in love! it's does fresh broccoli and cauliflower perfectly, I've also done frozen veg in it, it all works. and all the nice veg juice flavours the rice!It also cooks ALL kinds of rice perfectly.Use, 1 cup rice to 2 cups water (Packets and recipes always confuse me)So, if you can not cook rice, just want something that will cook it for you then keep it warm? GET THIS! also cooks fresh and frozen vegs reeeally easy! and I love easy!

Efficient and effortlessly easy
The media could not be loaded. We cook a lot of rice at home and since my toddler started running around, I find less and less time to stir and check cooking, which is when the rice cooker comes in handy. I usually cook vegetables with rice at the same time. 0.6 l feeds easily family of 3 but I've also used it during Christmas time when I had 6 people dining at my place. Not a problem for this cooker. Easy to use as well, as the light tells you whether your rice is still cooking or just warming. Small size ensure you can store it in smaller place as well. Also, in terms of electricty usage, this rice cooker beats using electric hob for cooking. I hope someone found this review useful.
