Genuine Fred Neat and Novel, Book Kitchen Sponges, Set of 3

My daughter is an author and these were a gift for her. What a hit! So unique!

These sponges were so cute, I decided to give them out as gifts to my fellow book club members. Multiple members told me they liked the sponges so much, they didn't want to use them but instead feature them on their bookshelves! I don't know how well they work since I didn't keep one for myself, but I can attest that they felt like great kitchen sponges and made fantastic gifts!

So cute and punny. More decorative than useful but worth it for the literature nerds. I was very sad when an aunt used it to actually wash the dishes… my Moby Dish went to drab after a few pots.

Worked well as a white elephant gift. I almost thought about keeping them myself.

I always like to get my sister kitschy type kitchen items for Christmas and these did not disappoint. Cute and funny. My husband who isn’t into books or pop culture even understood the references. Love these.

These sponges are adorable!! I've gotten so many compliments on them from friends and family. They're bright and look great along my sink. I haven't used them yet because I don't want to ruin them but they look like decent sponges. They're so pretty though you probably won't want to use them either! They would make a great house-warming gift!!

I could not resist these adorable book-themed sponges. They are so much fun to look at and make whatever cleaning chore you are doing a little more enjoyable. I don't use sponges except to scrub my dogs' food and water bowls, so I like having something a bit silly and fun, plus it's easy for the rest of the household to know not to use the book sponges as those are for the dogs.One side has a scouring pad, the other a typical squishy absorbent side. I wish the "Pride and Prejudice" lettering were in dark pink instead of white to make it stand out more, but it's a small complaint. I am not sure how long these will last or if they will fade or disintegrate quickly, but for however long they last, I will enjoy them.These would make a great Secret Santa gift for a bibliophile!P.S. The packaging is funny. It says it's designed in Rhodes Island by people. Yes, Rhodes not Rhode.

Have I ever loved something the way I love these book sponges?! Hard to know. These are so cute, just thinking about them makes me smile. If you have a book lover in your life, you’ve got to get these!These sponges are soft on top, regular in the middle, and scrubby on the bottom. They’re not going to wow you like a Scrub Daddy but they’re perfectly usable sponges- they’ll do the job and you’ll be mesmerized by how cute they are so you might forget you’re doing the world’s worst task.Note: they are attached to a piece of cardboard with plastic so you’ll want to make sure to cut (not pull!) them off. I started pulling and definitely created a dent in a sponge, which I think could have turned into a tear had I pulled any harder.
