Harris 32oz Chemical Resistant Sprayer

Bought it for Clorox Cleanup-big mistake. One quit working a short time after purchase. Another one leaked through the seam down the side did not know it until I pulled it out from under the sink it leaked down the leg of my clothing and on the floor. It also did serious damage under the sink because it was behind another bottle and I did not notice it was leaking. Ruined my clothes and have to repair shelf under sink. Very disappointed and not happy about the damage

I figured since these were highly rated as chemical spray bottles that they'd be able to handle pet cleaner; apparently I was wrong. Each of the three bottles has failed in under 3 refills. I managed to extend their life by doing a water flush between refills, but this last one only sprays air with 24oz left in the bottle, and it's only on its second fill. I'm using Angry Orange Pet Odor Eliminator in the bottles. I intended to use one bottle for that, one for water, and the other had no designated use when I bought it, but was quickly purposed with replacing the first bottle after its 3rd fill when the sprayer started being slow to reset. No longer could I quickly spritz it, I had to wait 2-3 seconds for the pump to spring back into place between each spray. The second bottle lasted either 2 or 3 refills, I can't remember, but it simply stopped spraying anything; I thought the pickup tube was clogged but I can blow water through it and right out the nozzle with ease - the trigger just doesn't do anything now, maybe the pump cylinder failed. The third one just died after its first refill, about 2oz in. I've done maybe a dozen or two sprays since refilling it? I don't count, but I use it about halfway between mist and stream settings, so moderate amount of liquid sprayed with each pull. I dunno, it's a spray bottle. Expensive, relatively speaking, at that! It should just work. The 'chemicals' I'm using in it are designed for use around pets, they can't possibly be so harsh as to destroy a spray bottle in under a month. Come on. I use them sparingly, so it's taken me a while to write the review, but the last one breaking just now really annoyed me, I'm writing this at 4am with the bottle disassembled in the sink actively running under warm water in an attempt to get it working again.

I use these mainly for vinegar and dishsoap and I have had other stop spraying that after awhile. These have not failed me, not sure with other chemicals but where other have failed with my mixture for cleaning , these have not. Would buy again.

The spray bottle is working pretty good. It’s doing what it’s supposed to do as advertised.

These bottles really hold up to chemicals like clorox and other mixed insecticides. Just be careful they don't fall over because the top on one bottle broke when it fell. But they last a long time with the chemicals in them and the sprayer continues to spray for at least a year which I have had them. Other cheaper sprayers don't even last one time before they get clogged up.

Does not work with diesel. My purchase shows up as HARRIS FAMOUS ROACH TABLETS but this review is for the Harris chemical resistant sprayer. I hope it goes to the right place. I use an herbicide (Crossbow) that I use with diesel as the carrier to penetrate bark on trees & bushes that can't be killed by spraying the foliage like Brazilian Pepper, which has invaded Florida. I also use it for "chemical pruning" by saturating a branch base which kills the branch but doesn't travel back into the tree. This is a paradox since phloem is on the outside and xylem is on the inside. Too much to explain here, google it. The red rubber plunger seems to swell and after ten minutes of use it freezes up. Almost all sprayers don't hold up to diesel; the only one that did (Zep HDPRO1) lasted for years but is no longer available. Currently Zep sells the HDPRO36 which doesn't work. The Harris Professional Spray Bottle does seem to work based on two days of use. If it's still working after a few weeks I'll post a review on that and buy a bunch of them. I'll need to contact Harris to see what the difference is. EDIT: Dec. 2020: Harris Professional Spray Bottles are still working. Not the cheapest at $6 each but they last.

Do not buy. Each one lasted a month before the pump gave out. This was just daily kitchen use with a 1:1 mixture of vinegar and water - hardly anything substantial or out of the ordinary. Such a worthless product. Never in my life have I experienced a spray bottle giving out.

No sirven, repito, NO sirven. No las recomiendo en lo absoluto. Hay mejores opciones a mucho menor precio.

These seem to be very good and they work great. I will update these comments if they fail over time usage.

Photo doesn't represent the actual product sent/received. Nozzle's pick up tube doesn't even reach all the way to the bottom. Returned and refunded.

Was attracted by the "Chemically Resistant" bit, which seems to be the case, but the bottles are kinda soft, and the spray heads are intermittent so a bit frustrating to use
