Not hardened steel
These are not hardened steel. They are presumably steel with a black coating over the top, this can be scratched off to reveal shiny silver underneath.Should have know better.

I like these nozzles!
I really like these nozzles, and this set is a great deal. I have multiple Lulzbot printers, and I like to run different sized nozzles on different printers to allow for prototyping of various materials and part types. This set is a great range of sizes (although could use a 0.8...). I have been printing exclusively with this nozzle on my Taz6, and I will be changing some of my other printers over as well. I think a 50w heater may help mitigate thermal differences between this and brass, but the print quality has been great thus-far. Also seems to suffer less from potential heat jams if you're running a high-flow hotend like I am. All in all great price for what you get.
