First of all, ignore the expiration date - they're a requirement for import or some bureaucratic nonsense that should not be applicable to spice mix in triple layer foil pouches. This product should be good for a decade past the expiration if stored properly. This product tastes exactly like my memory of the tastemaker spice mix foil pouches that were enclosed in each pack of Maggi masala flavor noodles back in the 90s - before the changed the formula to make it yellower and mild. I used to sprinkle the seasoning on the noodle cake and eat it dry. Anyway, this is excellent all purpose seasoning. It excels on fries. You could use it in stir fries, steaks, or whatever meal you want to make Indian style. Or you could just season what it was originally meant for - your favorite instant noodles. Enjoy!
