VASCHYVASCHY Backpack for men, Vintage Water Resistant Daypack Rucksack College Backpack with Padded 15.6 inch Laptop Compartment

I like to put my purchases through the moves before writing a review. In this case, I really put it to the test. I was searching for a backpack that would look stylish, be durable, and be versatile, and primarily a travel backpack. I spent quite a while researching, and although this one was about $10 more than the others, it is so worth it. Here is the summary:Fabric: Thicker than expected and more “luxe” than expected. This backpack is pretty stylish. The fabric reminds me of fabrics I’ve seen on Prada products. So it will look good in-city.Trim and latches: The trim is fine. Not leather. For this price I don’t care. the latches are good, although the edges are a little sharp. This is the downfall I see whatsoever on this backpack. All zippers are sewn well, and all seams are straight.Size: To me this is the perfect size. It is small enough to fit under the airplane seat in front of you, and it isn’t overpowering when you wear it (so it looks good in an urban setting). Yet it holds an astonishing amount. On the trip I just returned from, people kept commenting on it and calling it my “magic backpack” since I could keep so much stuff in it and it looked relatively small.Performance: I just returned from a three week trip to Chile, and took this as my carry-on. In addition to being my carry-on, I wanted to use it around Santiago and also at the nicer hotels I stayed at. In addition, it served as my backpack on several hikes, some of them intense. I didn’t want to bring a technical daypack, so I figured I’d make this one work. And it worked beautifully. Mind you, it doesn’t have a waist strap, and isn’t a technical backpack. But I took it on multiple hikes, in the Atacama Desert, Easter Island and Also several 9-mile hikes in Torres del Paine in Patagonia. It survived lots of dust/dirt in Atacama (being set down in the dust), heat, humidity and light rain in Easter Island and rain, wind and dirt in Patagonia. It also survived serving as my foot rest on flights between each of those locales. I wiped it down several times to get small stains or dirt spots off, and as of my return last night it looks as good as the day I opened it. I’m attaching a photo from one of the last days in Patagonia. So although I purchased this as a carry-on/travel backpack, it is going to join my “nicer” backpacks for everyday use - something I didn’t expect.Conclusion: This is a steal for the price. If you buy it you’ll get compliments. You’ll also be thrilled with the performance.

This is a smaller bag n for them to say it’s for men?!?! Oh man, it’s so not. I do like the cosmetic leather flap with straps and buckles, it’s a very nice look. The flap I believe is a pseudo . Just for looks, 2 side pockets for slim water bottles a top pocket for a cell phone n earbuds, a pocket inside for tablet, IPad, Chromebook, or small laptop. I think the widest the bag gets is about 7in, so it’s good that many teachers don’t use textbooks anymore (NOT! Only for purpose of the bag). But I’d say that the most the bag can get away with is the chrome book, a few notebooks,1 regular size textbook, and a few folders and that’s it! I don’t know how durable it is yet as he hasn’t used it, and it looks to be extremely water resistant.

This backpack is great quality, holds a lot, and is the perfect size to use for whatever you need. My daughter has one, and she stuffs her laptop, cords, and everything she would put into a large purse. It has great padded straps so it is very comfortable...and it is very lightweight. The way it is designed is perfect for security...all the zippers can come together facing your back so noone can get into it from behind. She bought hers after she saw mine....and I love it in place of a purse for short day trips. It holds so much. I used a backback for a diaper bag when my daughter was a baby, but this one is even better since it is padded and lightweight. A great price too!🙂

Perfect bag for every day and/or travel! I bought and returned a bunch of bags leading up to a European vacation and this was perfect- chest strap for when my laptop was in, the secret zipper pocket behind the laptop is great safe spot for wallet/passport. The outside pockets are great - 2 side slots for water and umbrella and a front zipper pouch that is pretty big. There's just the perfect amount of compartments.The material was perfect for the rainy days too.And the padding was good.Overall very satisfied with the purchase and at a great price too!

I use this backpack for school. I tend to carry my textbooks and other things. It has two main bag spaces, the smaller one (in the front) does not zip, rather it has magnetic buttons. A problem I had with this was that one of my buttons stopped latching on after one week use. I also carry a 17" laptop, and it is a fit. Other than that I believe this bag to be convenient with its elegant design and I especially am very happy that this does not bring a hub port since I tend to wash my backpacks from time to time.

Material looks a bit cheaper in person than it does online, but it is a cheap backpack I guess. Comfortable and has enough room for my school stuff

I bought this backpack my second semester Sohmore year of college after my old backpack crapped out. After a few months one of the litte buttons on the front broke but it didn't bother me much becuase I loved the way I look and got lots of complements. It wasn't until today. 11/15/20, my first semester senior year, that I had an issue. The zipper on the bag broke. I'm really heartbroken becuase I thought this bag would have lasted longer than two years. I understand for the price point it did a great job but I am dissapointed and unhappy I have to buy a new backpack. Unfortunatly, won't repurchase.

I reached out to them in regards of a replacement because on of the straps had came off and magnets. I was able to get in contact with them through email. I really liked this backpack because it’s such a casual bag for a guy. I use it everyday to go to work and I am able to fit my gym clothes and lunch to go to work. It is not bulky like other backpacks. I am glad that they were able to replace it without any issues. I will most likely get another one in a different color. Maybe lowering the price will attract more buyers but other than that, this backpack is the one to go with.

Needed a new bag for school and work that was also waterproof in case of bad weather. I found this one rather quickly and was excited about it's sleek look and design, so I ordered it right away. The space inside is just enough to meet my needs with one large and one small compartment, so I'm not complaining. I like that I can carry my water bottle properly and handy now! The material is indeed waterproof and gives the bag a very elegant feel. I love the cushions on the back that make carrying it so much more comfortable. Plus, I already received more than three compliments on it!

This bag rocks! So great having a water proof backpack instead of having to put a rain cover on while in the middle of your travels. This worry free way to go is the best!Vaschy is a great brand! I ordered this bag and used it for work nearly every day for a just under a year before the zipper pulls came off the tracks on me.HOWEVER when I contacted the company they sent me a replacement product and requested feedback for improving their product.I had zero issues with contacting Vaschy and they sent my replacement product in under a week. I will definitely order again.

The quality is great. It opens up nicely so you can easily see everything you put in. Zippers are good quality. I got it because I needed a laptop bag. Mine is a thin 15.6" Lenovo ideapad. It fits, but the padding only goes up about less than 2/3 of the length of the laptop, leaving the top of it jiggling about. The top of the laptop is not snugly in place. It doesnt have a velcro strap to secure it in place, either - which would have made up for it. I had to buy a laptop sleeve to ensure that my laptop does not get damaged.It defeats the purpose of why I got the bag, but other than that, I love everything else.

Nice backpack with good pockets and storage. The bag is a good size, stylish, and waterproof. In my opinion, it does run smaller than a “typical” backpack. Unfortunately, I’ve had the bag for about a week and there is some fraying and slight damage and I’ve used it very little so I’m not sure on the durability.Edit. Vashy support contacted me and sent me a new bag. Great customer service on their part. Bag looks good so far and has no damage/wear thus far

This backpack is stylish, sleek and sexyI was very happy with how it looked and fit my boyfriend. I was looking for A little more space inside when I opened it up but I was able to fit “rolled” 2 pairs of underwear, 2 socks, 1 sweater, 1 thermal , 1 dress shirt, 1 pair of jeans, a toiletry bag a large laptop and cord. No room for ANYTHING else inside , so be mindful of what you’ll be using it for. If books or binders, this wouldn’t be ideal.It arrived early. I wasn’t willing to test the water resistance claim but will definitelyUpdate my review if it doesn’t live up to the claim because it was a specific feature I wanted.It’s hard to give it an accurate review when I just got it yesterday.
