Optical to copper conversion
I ran out of optical connection points on my 10GB switch but still had RJ45 connections. This allowed me to convert the SFP port on one switch so I could connect it to an available RJ45 port. Saved me from buying a much more expensive switch.

Great optics for 2.5gb
Have some equipment that supports 2.5g. I was able to use these optics in mikrotik switch and on intel 2.5gb cards without an issue. They run a tad hot, but all of these optics seem to run hot.

Homelab SPF+
Works with 10Gb SFP+ PCI-E Network Card NIC, with Broadcom BCM57810S Chip. I have it running at 2.5g with a Motorola cable modem connected to a esxi 8 host. Which makes for a cheap and fast homelab system.

Widely compatible
I've bought several, and i've used them with solarstorm, mellanox, and mikrotik, and had the rj45 negotiate with 1g,2.5g, and 10g interfaces. The one time I ran into issues was with a card that couldn't support the middle speeds on it's end, and required the link be at full 10g speeds to function.

Works as described
No issues at all with install. Handled 10 G and 2.5G circuits. No issues.

Works with QNAP switch
Getting an adapter to work on a QNAP switch with SFP+ ports wasn't as easy as I thought. This one works. Used in an RJ 45 capacity.

Works at 1G speeds too
Ordered the 1.25/2.5/5/10GBase-T: 30m variant.Works in my Aruba S2500-24P switch, and negotiates 10gb/s when connected to my desktop PC that also has a 10gb/s network port. Also works in my Intel X520-SR2, after enabling unsupported SFP+ devices. Tested with Truenas Core (FreeBSD), while connected to a 1gb/s RJ45 port of the previously mentioned Aruba S2500.Yes, this particular SFP+ module negotiated down to 1000base-t (1gb/s), and seemed to function fine. The point of this test for me, is that it means I can use an Intel X520 card in my opnsense (freebsd) router, with this SFP+ module to connect to my ISP's Gigapoint 803G ONT (1gb/s RJ-45 port), and a 2nd fiber SFP+ module to feed my aruba switch / LAN.

Works as described with TL-SX3008F, bought again
I order a package of two and tested a couple of 2.5GBe devices. The transceivers worked perfectly. The TP-link switch used them right away without any configuration.I then ran them for 2 hours using iperf3, no packets were dropped and the transfer rate was always line speed.rJ45 ends clip perfectly into the device as well

Works perfectly in the SFP port of my Asus AX89X
I bought this to utilise the 10Gb SFP+ port on my Asus AX89X router.Simply plugged in to the SFP port on the router and connected to the 10Gb LAN port on my desktop and bingo 10Gb link in place. They are pricy for what you get however I cannot use the 10Gb Base T port on my router as it's currently set up as the WAN input for the Virgin Media 1Gb internet so good to have another 10Gb port that I can use for my home network.
