Great if you're a visual learner...
...which I am. The graphics are surreal but dynamic presentations that might take a little getting used to. But they do emphasize swing keys in a way that helps the reader to VISUALIZE the mechanics for each shot type. I struggle at times with translating verbal instruction alone into actions that I can understand and reproduce, and DVDs sometimes tend towards overkill. There's something about a creatively managed single image, though, that gets the point across to me quickly and simply. Bradley's unconventional imagery does the trick. Not for everyone, perhaps (I was able to sample the book first in a print version), but worth a try if other golf instruction approaches haven't quite worked for you.

Visualization helped immensely
I ordered this for my hubby. He usually plays at a 3-4 handicap but it had crept up to a 5-6 recently. He is back down to a 4 and credits the visualization techniques from the book.

Shut off the TV and read this one.
This book is good reading with some interesting concepts, pictures and a thought provoking look at the game. It will give the reader a pretty broad spectrum of ideas and techniques to consider for implementing into his own game. I recommend this one for reading to simply help expand one's understanding of the game and the shots and thoughts needed to take the next step to improvement. It seems to be an expansion of the authors excellent book "The Seven Laws of the Golf Swing" which I feel should be read and studied by every golfer. Buy this book and shut the TV off and read it. I would give it four stars only because I use some different techniques than the author describes but the ones described by the author are solid and proven and warrant a five star rating. Don't expect to read this one in one night and when completed, will give you greatly expanded views of the game. Don't set it down because you may disagree with the author, He will make you think. Buy it and get stated reading it !

If You Are Limited to One Golf Instruction Book - Take This One
Very comprehensive and exceptionally up to date as many traditional ways of making golf shots, especially short game shots, have been revised and improved the past few years. This book demonstrates them all. I found many of the author's exaggerated photos to be effective in explaining the points he was making in the text. Ironic, because I had held off in taking this book seriously due to these photos until I checked a few points that I stumbled across from other sources. My recommendation to all golfers is to read this book or e-book as you prefer.

In my opinion the best golf instruction book ever written!
I know that is saying a lot but if you had to only buy one golf instruction book to take to your desert island this would be the one.Having purchased virtually every book and DVD on golf, I can honestly say that this one is the most creative and entertaining one yet.No matter if you're a high handicapper or a tour pro you will get something valuable from it and will probably refer to it often. The fact that each chapter is a bite sized lesson along with a brilliant visual that burns into your memory makes it especially practical. It's also comforting to know that the author has so much credibility having taught Justin Rose and many other top players as well as beginners and juniors.Get it,you won't regret it!

This is the best book I have ever read on Golf improvement
Nick has captured the golf swing in a way that makes it easy to understand and emulate. The body positions reflected by his remarkable illustrated photos, help the aspiring golfer feel what is so hard for most teachers to explain to their students by just talking to them. Visualization works wonders. After practicing a few key moves I learned from Nick, I went from shooting in the low 100's to breaking 90. I see constant improvement using his instruction. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has trouble getting their body to preform athletic moves that are not natural to other sports.

and feelings Nick offers are the OPPOSITE of Hogan style golf - which is the best instruction you can hope for before becoming a
I give this one star because it leads the average golfer so far astray from fundamental golf that it is a major disservice. While there are a few decent pictures and tips the lessons, thoughts, and feelings Nick offers are the OPPOSITE of Hogan style golf - which is the best instruction you can hope for before becoming a Q School cadet. Butch Harmon merely wrote the intro fyi. I had this book and liked it - but after reading through many other instructors I've come to the conclusion that 80% of the tips offered are 100% misleading. Particularly the overuse of the right side, leaning back in the shot, pincer styled grips, take-away, etc. Do yourself a favor and check out other, more traditional instructors like a Jim McClean for real improvement.

Buy this book, you will play better after reading it!
One of the best instruction books I've read. Nick Bradley knows how to get his instruction across in a book with wonderful graphics that convey his message in a lasting, meaningful way. Every golfer should have this book!

Full of Interesting Thoughts About The Golf Swing
Another excellent book from Nick Bradley and contains a whole lot of good ideas about how to swing - but more important, the focus is on remebering what we are supposed to be doing, not what to avoid. If you are like me, practce up to the point where you think your've starting making your best swing ever - only to go out the next day and find you've lost it again - then this is a book for you. This book will help you visualise what you are try to do and reinforces, visually, what you have found useful when practicing. That means you'll remember better what a correct swing feels like - and how to start up that swing from cold before you play a competition. And that last one is the real deliverable from this book - a methodology to start swinging well on a new day.

This is brilliant
I love this book. I am a very visual person - when someone talks about what I should be doing it is sometimes like they are talking Russian! With this book and all the images it is much easier to understand what changes I need to make - some are very easy such as imaging fighter planes going low over head when you need to stay low to hit a low shot - simple. Others don't make quite as much sense to me but that maybe because my game isn't sophisticated enough yet. I would love if Nick Bradley produced some little laminated memory cards for me to take out…. at the moment I've just made my own - just little reminders for difficult shots as I have just joined a new club where mountain goats would feel at home

Can't put it down
I bought Nick Bradley's " The seven laws od the golf swing" a few years ago and found it a ground breaking book on golf instruction. Kinetic golf complements this as it gives a unique and different way of understanding the golf swing through its use of stunning visual images. The explanations of how to keep the ball low and how to play shots out of sand are original and work brilliantly when playing the game. I have an eight handicap and have played the game for 50 years and have found this book a totally refreshing read compared to other golf instruction books. However, this book is not for the beginner as it will really lead to confusion by the way the book is structured. For example the first page starts with the driver then moves on how to draw an fade the ball. I would recommend that they read " The seven laws of the golf swing " first which starts from the grip then stance then swing in that order. This book is for the experienced and relatively competent golfer who will find it a great read.

Kinetic Golf by Nick Bradley
Kinetic Gol is the ultimate "coffee table" golf instruction book which is packed with graphic illustrations all with superb colouring. The book is written in a way that allows the reader to dip in and out of different sections whether it be using the driver, bunker play, the mental game or other aspects of the golf game. This is not a step by step technical volume on the mechanics of golf but is much more focussed through its 195 innovative images on how the golf swing should look and feel. The text is written in a clear and informal style but if you are the kind of person who learns best from a visual, albeit quirky, explanation of the key moves in golf then this could be the book you have been looking for.
