Adequate and almost a 5 but...
...it's a little pricey, it's a little flimsy which means it's a little difficult to use.I'm a 13 year cancer survivor going through yet another round of treatments. This round has caused my fingers and palms to go numb. When I saw this product with wrap-around handles I was really excited. Unfortunately, the material isn't quite strong enough to eliminate the clippers from bending and thus losing the best "torque" when attempting to cut your nails. It comes with a very nice (but too big) storage box. I wish the manufacturer would save the cost of the box and invest in sturdier materials! They are a marked improvement over the "over-the-counter" drugstore cheapos, but just not quite the 5 I was hoping for.

Wish I had known about these a lot sooner
Love these. Like all people with lower back problems, clipping toenails is an issue. These allow me to save at least a couple inches of bending over and with the finger grips, do a much better job clipping than my regular finger/toenail clippers. This set has allowed me to resume my own nail grooming after over a year of my husband having to do it for me. Great psychological lift as it makes me feel more independent and self-sufficient about taking care of myself.

Too Much Flex
The idea is great, but there is too much flex in the handles. When I put my thumb and finger into the rings and apply pressure to cut a nail, the long handles flex so much that little pressure is applied to the nail. This is especially true when dealing with the thick nail of the big toe. I end up having to remove my finger and thumb from the ring and pressing down on the handles closer to the clip end (just as I would do with a conventional clipper). For fishing - the smaller one is good for cutting monofilament fishing line, and the finger rings can be used to attach the clipper to a lanyard.

Perfect for weak hands and fingers
These nail clippers are exactly what I have been looking for. Chemotherapy has caused my hands and fingers to become weak and difficult for fine movement control. I could not press regular clippers hard enough to cut my nails. With my finger tips in these loops, it is not hard at all to cut through even thick nails. I think these clippers might be sharper than my previous set. I’ve only had these for a week, so time will tell how long they will remain useful. But I do plan to buy more, since my wife likes them also.

So glad to be able to regain independence of such a basic need
So glad to have found these! I have extremely bad arthritis in both hands, as well as weakness (due to pregnancy carpal tunnel. The pain went away a few months after giving birth, but never got the strength in my hands back).I haven’t been able to cut my nails in a long while and find it embarrassing (especially since I’m still in my late 30’s) to ask others to help. So was very excited to find these, since I know I can still use scissors. As soon as they came in, I cut off my talon nails and was so happy to be able to regain a simple, basic need, to do for myself. The quality is pretty much the same as any other nail clippers Ive ever seen. It was definitely definitely worth the buy for me!

These work great!
These are the best nail clippers I've ever had. I have pretty solid toenails and regular clippers just bent when I squeeze the handle to try and cut my toe nails. I could literally squeeze them till the lever touched the main body of the regular clippers but these give the leverage and the strength to cut my nails. I'm going to buy at least one more set just so I have spares.

Smooth sharp quality cut
For $9.99 I wasn't expecting much, but was I surprised! Good clean cut, packaged in a box that looks like a gift item. I have Parkinson's disease and the tremor makes it hard for me to trim my nails without bracing my cutting hand against my chest. This style presents a much more stable clipper. Leaves the trimmed nails extremely smooth. A real pleasure. I also have calcification in my toenails, and the large clippers work just as well for them. I don't need to squeeze anywhere as hard as I did with my old ones, and these clippers have only a slight curve, which keeps me from cutting too far in on the initial clip. Well worth the price.

Nice packaging, good for dexterity issues, awkward otherwise
These came packaged nicely in a gift box but I think that they awkward. I don't have dexterity issues but if a person did I think that is where they would be most beneficial. You certainly get more control with the finger loops but they do take more getting used to than a more conventional style. I will keep them but they are not my "go to" clippers.
