Product info on Amazon shows 10"x 10", but some reviews say it is not that big. I need at least a 10x10 to accomodate my wallet. Sure wish I could be sure before I ordered it.

Would this bag hold a bible ?

IMHO, I don't think the purse is sturdy enough for that. It's a great purse - the colors are just wonderful. I bought it for my cat loving niece, and i love it too, but it is lightweight. I guess it all depends on the size and weight of your bible.

How Long is the strap?

Fairly long. If placed on your shoulder it would come roughly about your hip.
