Adds elegance to my dining room and works as described. Easy to install compared to another brand I bought. My house is 1079 sq ft and this chan fan is proportionate to the dinning room.

We bought the black and gold fandelierwith the 5 clear lampshades. We hung it over our dining room table.Note:1. This is not dimmable.2. We got rid of the humming noise by changing out out our dimmer wall switch to a preferred standard switch.3. The noise from fan is still louder than your typical ceiling fan.4. Save yourself a little extra time and work by choosing the right length of the three extenders provided. At first, we chose the middle-sized extender pole and found that it looks much better with the longest one.5. When using remote, when you click on the lowest fan setting, it blows at highest setting for a few seconds and then clicks down to the lowest setting.6. We thought the enclosed white gloves added a nice touch to keep you from dirtying the clear lampshades when putting them on.7. You need to by lightbulbs separately.8. Two people and two ladders helps. I held the fixture up while my husband attached the wires.This fixture is way nicer looking than our previous one. We actually looked at all the light fixture displays at our local hardware store and this is much better looking than any options they had.

Don’t be fooled by the size of the blades, they produce a lot of air! Looks nice in our dining area, different from the traditional ceiling fan/light setup, which is what I was looking for.

I love this light fixture. The circulating fan is so fancy and gives out a great deal of air. I like that it has a remote control. Wish I could get a smaller one for my kitchen.
