This film Is a must for those who are or have studied Japans distant past in some form or other .

Loved to watch this movie. It is better than the american version with all kinds of magic!!. This one is more down to earth!.

truly excellent movie

enjoyed it but found the plot difficult to follow (And I know the story) and at times it was very slow. Imagary and atmosphere compensated for this and overall an enjoyable work

Good movie, but it wasn't, action packed has I would, of like it to be.

How did the Japanese manage to make such a great story into such an awful movie.
