These replaced a pair of Merrell Moab GTX shoes which from day one where uncomfortable and started to fall apart within a year. I did lots of research on which shoes to replace them with. Keen NXIS won.These shoes are incredibly comfortable with lots of toe room, which means no more sore toes. The sole has a tremendous grip and feels like walking on sponges when on tarmac surfaces. I've stood in several streams to test the waterproofing and so far so good, but only time will tell.My normal shoe size is 7 but my research showed it's best to go a full size up, so I went for an 8 and I'm glad I did.

Aside the fact a friend called these 'Noddy shoes' I can't fault them. They are true to size, (for me, size 10) and the wider toebox adds extra comfort even though I'm only medium width feet. Waterproof at the moment as well, though obviously comes in at the top when there is a huge downpour.The sole gives excellent support and is like walking on a cushion. So far, so good, hopefully durability is excellent as well and they remain waterproof. Sportshoes Unlimited were excellent with a previous faulty return (not this brand) too.

I bought these because the most comfortable shoes I bought were keens walking sandals. Then bought a pair of walking shoes. So I thought I'd try something a bit more casual looking and these are just as comfortable as my other pairs. Only Keens for me now on.

Delivered quickly and correctly and at the lowest price. Comfortable from day one, with plenty of room for your toes to spread out. Usually I had to buy shoes that were too big, just so that my toes were not squashed.

I hike quite a lot and unlike most shoes I’ve been using these left my right foot in pain after just a short, maybe 5k walk nearby.There’s a couple of points of contact where the right shoe will chafe my foot and I can’t tell if it’s a design that doesn’t fit my somewhat very average built foot, or if it’s just an odd one out, which somehow left the manufacturing process somewhat poorly made.Anyway, after trying multiple times to make foot get accustomed to it I realised there’s no way I can use this on my typical hike being anything between 20-50k a day and have my feet functioning the next day.I guess trying to get great hiking shoes for a fraction of a price is a hit and miss.Pity, because otherwise they seem quite sturdy and have a decent grip.

Awesome purchase my favorite walking shoes. Have walked in rain and puddles and kept feet dry, also light so easy on the legs. Very comfortable. Love my purchase

So the shoe didn’t fit right, was too wide. Despite being sold and shipped by Amazon, I had to pay the return postage even as a Prime member.I will never buy shoes again from Amazon.

Very high water resistance. Very comfortable. Great shoe for trail running and general use.

I bought these shoes knowing the Keen brand from having several pairs of their sandals. I wanted a full shoe and this one hasn't disappointed. It is very comfortable to walk in. I have diabetic neuropathy in my feet and finding a good shoe to walk in and even wear for extended periods of time is hard. These provide support and comfort throughout the day.

Tl;dr - 230lb man on my feet for 10 days across Europe in 90+ degree heat, heavy rain several days, and 10+ miles of walking a day - zero issues. Carrying a heavy backpack full of a complete set of Scuba gear all day, and trekking through the Rain Forrest’s of Costa Rica were also handled with ease. Solid, throughly tested piece of equipment - but with confidence.Our Europe trip had a dark cloud over it - a storm system was moving through Hungary and Austria during our planned vacation. Having had stellar experience with Keen in the past, I looked for a last minute waterproof, yet breathable shoe for the 10 day adventure and settled on this shoe. I ordered it on Amazon Prime, and it showed up just in time for the trip. I didn’t have time to break the shoe in, and wore it the next day to the airport as the only pair of shoes I brought on the trip.The shoes are comfortable, light, absolutely waterproof, have solid traction for on and off road excursions - and they breathe well. Keep in mind, this is a waterproof shoe - if you expect it to breathe like a pair of crocs, or a knit running shoe - those aren’t reasonable expectations. It breathes far better than a pair of leather shoes, and will out perform (breathability) most traditional running/walking shoes that aren’t specifically designed to have high levels of breathability. Given that this is a waterproof shoe - that’s a big deal…. But again, have reasonable expectations.Despite nearly every day being 90+ degrees with tropical levels of humidity, these shoes (with quality wool socks) were never uncomfortably hot and were essentially a non-issue.I’m always impressed with the quality of Keen products, and this continues the trend. I wish they made a “made in America” option for this style of shoe - as their American made lines are a meaningful and worthwhile investment in heightened levels of quality - but I digress.This shoe outperformed my expectations, and was an absolute treat to travel with. Highly recommend.
