They aren’t narrow, in fact they are wide. I wear a 7 1/2 and bought an 8 and they were too big. I bought a 7 and they are perfect

Q: Would they be comfortable without socks, I can't stand being barefoot in the house and am looking for basically a shoe to use as a comfy slipper?

Yes I wear mine most of the summer without socks. The only problem I’ve had is I have a couple of pair that are too big and they rub my foot in spots. Socks snug them up enough that those don’t bother me then. I normally wear a size 6 but the 6 in these are either too big or lose enough they need socks. So I have gone to buying the 5.

I don’t have wide feet and these fit me just fine.
