Great Product and even better customer service!
This Lake Aeration Pump Kit was installed in my farm pond to keep me from having problems with fish kill due to pond turnover.. It works GREAT and I would tell anyone who needs such as system they should buy from this company.. It is a great value and the customer service is awesome. When my kit arrived some parts were damaged due to shipping NOT the fault of the seller. However, I contacted customer support and "Nathan" went above and beyond what anyone has ever done for me to get the new parts I needed. He even extended my warranty from one year to two. I can't thank him enough and will say HE and the company are number 1 in my book.

Air pump good, hose sucks
If you can find a better deal without the hose then do it. Pump is good so far (2 weeks in). Hose has blown twice. Very annoying.

3 Weeks In, Working So Far - as of May 2023. See review for tips! Will update if it breaks down.
I've only had it installed for around 3 weeks as of this review, but I like it so far. I'll update this post if it breaks down. Even though my review is long, it's got a lot of good tips! I originally included links for additional products needed but the review was blocked, so I’ve included the description instead.First, the "con" - while it comes with 2 diffusers, it only comes with one hose! I didn't even think to confirm that because all the other ones I saw for sale had an equal number of hoses and diffusers. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I guess the idea is that you could cut the hose into two 50' lengths, but that wouldn't go very far.Installation was fairly easy, even though the instructions are almost non-existent. I'm reasonably handy, no experience with this type of thing, but still I found it straight-forward.I bought this hose for the 2nd diffuser, it's much higher quality than the hose that came with the item. It's way thicker and heavier.Search Amazon for this: Half Off Ponds 3/8" x 100' Self Sinking Weighted Black Vinyl Tubing for Pond…Since I saw many reviews talking about how the hose couldn't stand up to the heat, I went ahead and bought 10 feet of high heat resistant hose, and used just a few feet to go from the compressor to each of the 2 hoses.Search Amazon for this: 3/8 Inch (10mm) ID Fuel Line Hose 10FT NBR Neoprene Rubber Push Lock Hose High Pressure 300PSI…I used these menders to connect the 100 foot hoses to the heat resistant hoses:Search Amazon for this: LIONMAX Barb Splicer Mender, 3/8 Inch to 3/8 Inch Barb Hose…Perhaps the most important added accessory is the housing/cabinet that you can see in the pictures. It was $270, but obviously you're going to need some way to protect it, and more importantly, it has a fan that cools the compressor. I believe the fan is critical to avoid over-heating. The cabinet is built in a way where you plug the compressor into the cabinet, and then the cabinet plugs into your outlet. So you only have one cord going to an outlet.Search Amazon for this: HQUA ASC01 Pond, Water Garden Weatherproof Outdoor Cabinet…One extra thing I did, it may not be necessary but I think it's a good idea - I bought these Govee smart plugs for around $22. You plug anything into them (lamp, air compressor, etc.) and then you can control those items with an app. More importantly, you can use the app to set an on/off schedule. So with this smart plug, the compressor runs for 3 hours, and then turns off for 1 hour (to allow it to cool). It then turns back on for 3 hours, and the cycle repeats. Personally I'd recommend this.Search Amazon for this: Govee Smart Plug… 4 PackEven though this item was only around $400, I ended up paying around $800 + tax for the whole setup. Still, much cheaper than than the $5k - $6k my pond guy was quoting (although I'm sure his option would've been higher quality).Hope this review helps someone!***Edit*** - 6 Months Later - still working perfectly.

Good for small pond
First I don’t write reviews ever and second I was very surprised with this aerator. We have very high temps and drought conditions and my little half acre pond was in dire need of help. I needed something I could afford and that would work. This pump seems to move a lot of air and is pretty quiet. It was easy to wire up. You will need to purchase the cord of your choice. I am running it mostly in the evenings and early morning so not running it when temps are 100 plus. It seems to be working well. We are only a few days into use so I will have to come back later and review after more use.

It works great
I needed a way to get more oxygen into my pond to keep the fish healthy. This was perfect. My pond is about 1-1 1/2 acres. This works great for me. The pump is very quiet. I’m

Hose failure and pump failure
I have been trying to use this pump and build up to leaving it on all of the time, however the hoses keep splitting about two inches away from the fitting coming from the pump. I have tried electric tape to help the hose then the other side split, I taped both sides and now it appears it has happened again. I am not sure what the hoses are made up of, but they keep breaking down. I think I am going to go get some of the black plastic funny pipe used for sprinklers and connect that to the pump and out of the box, then connect the supplied air hose back outside the box. I am not sure why the supplied hose is not holding up. The thought maybe the heat or the pump was moving, but I do not believe either of those is causing it. Hopefully the hose is not breaking down in the water. Any recommendations or thoughts from manufacturer? After 1 month of use the pump stopped working and item was returned. Unit gets extremely hot and hose kept splitting likely because of the heat.

Hose is absolutely the worst - rest is OK
We got it all hooked up, motor is more quite than the bubbles exiting the pond - not bad at all! We deployed only 1 of the 2 aerators due to not having enough hose length. The 100' hose must be used for both aerators which means you have to cut to size. This is OK except its too short. The real issue we have, is that we are only on day 2 (1 hour run-time) and the hose already blew out! Pump is leaking air enough that no air is reaching the aerator. Now we have to start over, go buy adequate hose and try again. The cost in lost time and trying to find the right type/size/length of hose is not worth it. Looking back, we wish we would have just purchased the right pump, the desired aerators and then any proper hose. Buyer - be prepared to replace the hose include - it is nearly useless. It will be interesting to see how well the pump does over time. Generally speaking, this is otherwise a nice system for beginners. Note - there is a document from seller to buy a plug, we did not need to buy a plug. This pump came with an AC cord with a 3 prong plug attached. Seller should correct ad, we now have a 3-prong plug to return to hardware store.Decent pump, aerators are actually impressive.
