This is a great bit of kit. I was pleased by the finish of the trap, not like items I have had from the far east. The instructions were easy to understand - again, unlike non EU equipment.A good idea the makers have had is to use the instruction pamphlet to mark out a template for drilling the holes for the screws. Simple to do and really handy when installing/drilling the mounting attachment. Another bit of clever detail is the plugs which fit into the drive recess in the bolt heads-tapped in with a hammer, making them very difficult to remove.I mounted my one vertically due to the design of the 2 bikes I store.Overall, very happy with this security device.

The thing about locks and security features in general, is that they need to be quick, convenient, and easy to use (the best lock is no good if it's not securing something!). The Bike Trap is all of those. It takes seconds to secure or release your bike, and I fail to see why you wouldn't use it every time you come home. It was easy to fit having a handy template for where you need to drill the fixing holes, and seems very well made and finished.I'm impressed!

I got this to hang up our bikes in a shed which is on the front of the house so wanted something that locks, not just a hanger for the bikes.Pros:- Easy installation with template provided- Torx drill bit for screws included- Feels solid when locked- Looks solid so hopefully good deterrentCons:- It says it fits 2 bikes and as you can see in the pics it does, but wide MTB bars may need to be twisted sideways on the rear bike as in the case of my 70CM bars on the bigger bike. Not a huge thing, but something to be aware of.- I seem than under load from 2 bikes the bars bend down VERY SLIGHTLY which makes the locking mechanism a little bit of a pain to close but should improve with practice as well.Pro/Con: Has 4 extra optional holes for added security - would be great if it came with the pegs & screws for that too - when opting for this product I think everyone aims for max security so why not include it from start?Overall very happy. Hope it won't have to find how theft proof it really is...

I have been using the rack for a couple of weeks now and I have to say I love it. A really well thought out design right through from the packaging to the installation to the functionality. My bike is worth £800 so I wanted a good product to support and secure it. It's certainly not the cheapest rack available but I consider it well worth it as the previous rack it has replaced was poorly made and part of it broke off. This is really solid and nicely finished - I wish I had bought it first time around!!

Although it looked like a good product worth the money, our two bikes got stolen off the wall... frame was bent and left in pieces. Very disappointed.

Very easy to install to a wall took about an hour. Tha device is large I have both my MTBs and a pair of ladders locked into one. I have fitted it at an angle so the lock goes through the back wheel and frame.

We got this to secure our bikes in our alleyway as we live in a terraced house and have no garage or shed. This was quick to install and easily attached to the outside of our yard wall. Very simple design so looks neat and sleek but really sturdy and the 2 bikes are totally secure. Love it!

Sehr leichter Aufbau, macht ein soliden Eindruck. Man sollte aber auch wissen wenn es doch zu ein Diebstahl kommt, es nicht die Versicherungs Anforderung erfüllt.

Niestety zabezpieczenie nie powstrzymało złodziei. Dwa rowery skradziono. Straty na ponad 2000 EUR.

Ces systèmes de fixation antivol ne sont peu commun et c'est fort dommage car l'efficacité est au rendez-vous !Habitant un petit appartement, je cherchais un moyen de fixer mon VTT au mur de mon garage pour ne pas encombrer. Je voulais dans un second temps protéger mon bien contre le vol, résultat, ce système 2 en 1.Le produit est esthétiquement beau, il respire la solidité. Toutes les instructions à l'installation sont claires et tout le nécessaire à la fixation est fourni (vis + protège tête de vis).Des petits rembourrages en mousse font offices de support pour le vélo, évitant un contact direct.En bref agréablement surpris par ce bel outil, il aurait solutionné 2 de mes problèmes du moment.
