This is just what I needed to make a new crate pad for my little dog.

I am mostly a back sleeper and, about 2 years ago, decided that very flat pillows suit me best. Big plump pillows kink my neck too much. It is not easy to find flat pillows but they are more common now. And I really like latex pillows because they retain their shape.My first flat pillow is actually not a pillow. It is a latex twin xl mattress topper that I had and I just cut off a portion of it. It works perfect for me. But, I wanted to give this adjustable slim pillow a try.On the first night I started with the full height pillow (3.5" - both inserts). It didn't seem very high and it was comfortable. However, by morning, I was completely off the pillow.On the second night I went for the middle height (2.5") by removing the flattest insert. Again, by morning, I was off the pillow.Then on the third night (and counting) I went with the flattest height (1"). I didn't think I would like this one at all. Not only was it really, really flat, it seemed flimsy or too squishy. But I woke up still on the pillow and feeling that it worked well for me. I do wish it was bigger overall.There is nothing really wrong with this product. But, in the end, I felt that this 3-in-1 pillow was just not the right pillow for me.Re: The attached photos - First photo shows both inserts. They each have a lightweight, breathable cover (thicker pillow's cover has a zipper - the flat pillow's cover does not have a zipper). Second photo shows both pillows stacked. And, the third pillow show that this pillow comes with an outer pillow cover.

Love that the pillow height is adjustable. However even at its highest it can barely be seen as a pillow it’s so low. Perfect for me but don’t be shocked by its minimalist appearance. Four star instead of five because it’s hard not firm.

First, I prefer relatively low pillows. I've been using feather pillows for a while now, and before that I was using memory foam pillows, so I decided to try latex this time. The first few days I slept on this without making any adjustments. Then I removed one layer and realized that this one suits me better. After all, I like this and am using it, but the difference with memory foam is that it is quite hard. I sleep both on my back and on my side, but when I sleep on my side, sometimes I feel a little uncomfortable because my ear hurts. If only the top part was a little softer, it would be perfect.

I've tried so many cervical pillows, the Magic Pillow, a wedge and many other pillows with varying levels of firmness. None of them have provided proper support for my cervical spine and all of them have caused or did nothing for neck and shoulder pain. This pillow has finally helped me achieve a better alignment for my head and neck at night. It's not a perfect solution but it certainly has been a better option. I chose to remove the 2nd layer and that was helpful. The foam isn't too hard so I don't have pressure points. I am happy that a pillow case can actually fit over it because other pillows are either too big or too oddly shaped for a standard case.

This arrives completely flattened. I cut the bag open and it did not immediately change shape. 3 days later its still flat as a pancake and useless. Unfortunate because I really need an adjustable pillow like this.

This pillow feels great and cushions the head nicely, but there are a few issues with it. First, it's a really heavy and dense pillow. It provides a lot of support, yes, but you can't put your head under it. I know *most* people don't sleep with their head under the pillow, but I also know that there are plenty of stomach sleepers who do this, like me. If you want the option of sleeping UNDER the pillow, you can't do that. I didn't deduct any stars for this, though, because of course that's not what pillows are FOR, but it's worth noting it here. The real problem is that I unpackaged the item and left it out, uncovered for multiple days, and it still has a really, really, really strong rubbery/chemical smell. I still can't actually use it throughout the nice (even with a pillowcase on it). I am hoping that eventually it airs out, but I am a bit nervous since multiple days of airing out hasn't done the trick yet.

This flat latex pillow is a great addition and comfortable to aid my rest. I've tried contoured pillows and neck style that didn't really work for me, as they pinched my neck and caused soreness. This pillow is flat, yet still has enough plump to cradle my head without bothering my neck. Also works great as a back pillow as well. I like the fact that it isn't as large plump wise. I rest easier with this formation. Love it.

Careful, this is an expensive pillow and is clearly advertised as two pieces and variable height. As delivered only the top part is included and the 1” flat part is missing from the pillow. The result is a thin pillow that’s not really usable. Beware.
