Q: why does it say 100 % cotton , then below it says 50 % cotton / 50% poly ?

I don’t know why they say two different things. I can tell you they are 50/50 and are very good. They wash well, very thick, and my husband loves them. They do not shrink and need no ironing.

Q: Is this what champion refers to as powerblend?

Material was not the same soft blend as my previous purchases from sports outlets.
