Does the job well and looks very good. No problem with connectivity with my MSI RTX5070

Needed this to fit my 4090 in a Corsair case. Upgraded some parts and this worked with my 4090 in the Corsair 4000 airflow and now the Corsair 4000d RS Frame case. Wouldn't clear the cable without it with the glass cover. Only issue I have is that the piece could be a little more sturdy. It seems to have a little bit of wiggling to it, but it does exactly what it states it is for so it gets 5 stars. I havent felt it getting hot like others mentioned. Its no warmer than the cables ever were.

Works great, cables are no longer squished against the glass side, and it looks nicer, too!

After doing my research, I bought this adapter for my RTX 4080FE. It hasn't given me any issues, and combined with a little surgery on my case's side panel, it gave me just enough room to squeeze in the GPU. Don't know that I'd trust it with one of the new 50-series cards or even with an overclocked 4090. But with a 4080FE, it works just fine!

Serves the purpose for newer video card power plugs. A new ASUS RTX 4070 Super card came with an adapter to two standard PCIe 8-pin power plugs, but it was long and stiff and wouldn't have fit in my case. This solves that problem.

This adapterdoes not work with all 40 series cards ths shroud of the 4070 ti is too big and the adapter doesn't reach the gpu connector there fore cannot be used. In theory having a 99 degree angle is nice but this one doesn't work on all card models now I know there's 2 types A and B and based on where the connector type is I selected mine and looking my at the other it would not work either. If you really need a better solution get the corsair 12 volt cable adapter. It's more expensive but altleast it comes from a reliable brand and it works.

Beefy and way thicker then it seems. However it points back into the fan assembly instead of out toward top of case like most.

I had a cablemod 180 deg adapter and it melted itself into my 4080's connector during a few extended sessions. Cablemod allowed me to select any one of their cables as well as reimbursed me for a repair at northridgefix (a famous repair shop on youtube.) BTW, they do great work but, have absolutely horrid communication practices. I was left to worry about whether they received my $1200 card for way too long and they never did answer me about whether there was anything else that needed repaired past the obvious. That's the only 2 questions I asked. I prob overdid the packaging too but they sent it back with far far less. Also, expedited service took 2 more days than stated. I'm sure they're slammed but a simple email would've been great. Just a warning if anyone has to use them. The whole 11 days was very stressful, but I digress; I picked one with a 90 on the end. I found this and thought with the heatsink, maybe I'll be ok. Cablemods version did have a heatsink, just not much of one. This has no heatsink at all. There is a roughly 10x12mm very thin piece of AL on each side of the pcb connected to the ground. I can't rem the size, but if cablemods version with a sink and a thermal pad melted, this one with no such heatsink, thermal pad or anything of the kind to be seen, will surely melt too. I'm not going to use it. I would highly recommend anyone with more than a 4070ti or maybe even just a 70 not to either.
