Fits ridge 5 gallon must have!
My basement keeps flooding and picked up a ridge shopvac...needed a pump to make my life easier and this is it! Worth the price. Only con is that it does not have an automatic shutoff when tank is empty. Just be careful on that. But if you are hesitant to buy just do it. I pulled 60 gallons from the floor without it till I remembered I purchased last year...yes, head smack. Put it on this morning before I attempt to dry out the carpet...worked like a champ. Very powerful! Had to use the attachment it came with to hook it up.

BE WARNED!
This is either extremely slow to drain or the unit I got was defective. My mother in law was rushed to the hospital, so I missed the return window by a few days. They pretty much said SSTB.

Works well. Recommend extended warranty.
I used this pump every day on to empty the (8 gallon) shop vac after three tankfuls (water without debris). It worked fine for 13 months when it stopped working. I purchased the extended warranty, knowing the pump would be heavily used. The warranty came in handy (easily redeemed) and I used the refund (Amazon gift card) towards the purchase of a second pump and warranty.

Absolutely livid! Used and abused item!
Unfortunately, for me I didn’t open my item until literally 15 minutes ago; which is well after the 30 day mark. So I can’t get a refund for this used and abused water pump I received. Literally, it appears to be taken a part and put back together. I’m unsure if water pumps are supposed to rattle when not on, but it’s something on the inside that rattles. Also, it may be a short in the cord or something, because if I move it while on it shuts off. Sigh. I paid full price for this, and lieu and behold today it’s half off! 😤

One month of use almost daily and so far so good! Pumps quickly at about 4-5 gallons in 20 seconds or so. Easily installed to our Ridgid vac thanks to the multiple adapters it comes with. We added a quick connect adapter for easy garden hose plug-in for the water discharge.

I have two of these. One arrived with loose screws requiring a call to support to guide me through completing assembly so it would leak. it was the impeller cover was loose. The second started making the most horrible grinding sound after a few days of use. As support had guided me the fog cleaning the impeller I confirmed it was clear. I had only been pumping clear water, but the issue remains. I am only 11 months from my original purchase date, so I expect warranty replacement should be straightforward. I will update this review when I hear back.
