23" Long Kilt Skirt | Huge Choice of Plaids/Tartans with Free Pin

I'm really disappointed in this purchase. I am in a Celtic rock band and we wear kilts. I have some very expensive ones, but I wanted a relatively cheap one for when we play at smokey bars and such so as not to ruin my good ones. I guess the saying is true: you DO get what you pay for (this is cheap money wise, but also cheap quality wise). I used their measurement chart and the kilt I got should have fit just fine and should have come to just my knee or a little higher. This doesn't even look like a women's kilt even though it's listed as such! The waist was about 5 inches larger than I measured with measuring tape (they're supposed to sit lower) and it came down to mid calf! This has the feel and look of a men's kilt. I don't know if they made an error or not, but it would cost me almost as much as I paid to ship it back, so I'm donating it in a gift basket the next time my band plays for a charity or fundraiser event with some of our CDs. The material is also really heavy and kind has that cheap, scratchy feel (not at all like real wool blend should fee). This also isn't pleated very much, the way a true kilt should be. The worst part? I'm fairly certain they sent me a returned kilt! There were no tags attached and you could clearly see where someone had cut out the little tag at the waste with scissors. I'm guessing someone ordered this, returned it, and then they tried to pawn it off on me as a new product. Very disappointed and will not order from here again!!

To my surprise this came early and fit well. However, the belt buckles at first glance were very, very poor quality. The kind that if a child simply pulls to hard using both hands she can snap it in two. But I wore it anyway as I bought it and that is how it came. I just hoped for the best. The second time I wore one of the belts snapped right in half. Not on the buckle or the seam but right in the middle of the poor qualify belt itself. I had to put giant tape all over it just go get through the rest of the day. I had friends who bought from the same company using a different website and they had higher qualify normal buckles. Now I must buy another and will pay much more through another site to hopefully ensure this won't happen again.

The skirt is very cute. It is just above my knee. I am 5’10. I followed some reviews and ordered it larger than my regular size. I should have ordered my regular size. It is huge. But I will alter it and it will work. The shipping was fast. It said delivery between October 16-31. I got it October 6th. Overall I am very happy with this product.

I like this skirt a lot although I now think I may take it up a tad as 23" is surprisingly long despite that I'm almost 6' tall. It seems designed to come at the natural waist which might be a bit high for some tastes, in which case I'd say get a larger size so it can sit more on your hips. I have now lost some weight so I think it'll sit more where I want it when the party season comes around. The fabric is reasonably smooth - its acrylic of course at that price - and it hangs with a nice swirly feel to it even though its not a 'real' kilt. It does have a real kilt pin which is vital to stop it flying up in a breeze. The buckles work and may even be in leather straps - hard to tell these days.Now to find some black tights to go with the skirt - too bad Amazon doesn't stock warmlegwear's brand of tights for tall girls. I do love my Prime delivery.

This item looks great in person and I can't wait to wear it! It looks better in person than in the picture. After looking at the reviews and the seller recommendation I ordered my US size instead of using the amazon recommendations. I wear a a 9 or 10 and ordered a 10. I am glad I did. It fit pretty close to my usual size. I'm around 5' 9" and it hit right at or partially over my knee. If it was a little big it might be able to be altered by moving the internal button that hold it together at the waist.

Not bad for the price. Obviously acrylic, the fabric is a very loose weave and "picks" easily. Even the included kilt pin caused damage to the fabric upon insertion. On the plus side, it lets me flaunt my Scottish heritage without having invested hundreds of dollars in an authentic wool kilt -- that may come later, but for now, this serves the purpose adequately. Decent fit, although a bit on the large side, comfortable to wear, looks good.

I need a Royal Stewart Kilt for United Nations Day at our school, as this is my heritage in part. Anyway, at 4'11" and 100ish lbs, the 23 inch skirt is perfect. I don't like short skirts. The pin is a must. The fabric is fine for the price, although it won't wear like wool. If I am careful with this and hang it up after each wearing, it should serve me well for a few winters. I'm going to get a couple more in other plaids and black, because they are quite flattering for general usage.

I totally love this kilt! After transit it does need pressing but that is to be expected. The fabric is soft and thick enough for a kilt yet so lightweight. The sizing is bang on, the secret is to accept that this is not an ordinary skirt. If you want it around your waist find out the waist size of the kilt from the supplier. If you want it to fall below the knee, go a size up so you can wear it lower. I am a size 16 with long legs and a fairly short body. I choose to wear my skirts on my hips as it is more flattering for me. So I ordered the size 18. I am wearing this stylish kilt slung around my hips, it looks good and is in my opinion nicer worn this way. It falls an inch or so below the knee which is perfect.I can't wait to wear it to my Christmas parties, much more original than the LBD, no one will miss me in this! Go buy one!

I've been looking for a kilt for sometime to wear with thick tights and boots, however, being a woman over 50 many of them were way too short or too long so I either looked like mutton dressed as lamb or frumpy. This one is perfect, it just sits above my knee - I'm 5 ft 5. The colours are lovely too, very understated which is what I wanted. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, thank you.

Exactly what the picture looks like, it is of a reasonable length (none of those absurd mini short tartan skirts) and it feels nice too. It's good value for the money and arrived incredibly quickly too!

Well made thick tartan skirt.I’m really gutted to have to send it back but it’s simply way too long for me. I’m 5 foot and it was way below my knee. Made me look frumpy 😕Be lovely if you are taller than me.

This kilt is firstly way too small for me. The quality and tailoring is very poor and the quality material is also bad. Am so disappointed. I tried to arrange a return, but the setup doesn't arrange for pick ups. I need to arrange my own private courier and in order for it to get there by the cut-off date for a refund (I'll probably lose my postage fees as it is), it will cost more than it cost to purchase it! Buyers far afield such as South Africa, it's not worth it. And the seller doesn't give a toss about these reviews. Have received no acknowledgement as of yet.
