They are nice and stretchy. The clasps work. I was hoping they'd be plastic but metal is fine.

I like these a lot. They don't get tangled in my nor my kids curly hair. However, I do not like the coating over the snap pieces, it got everywhere, could have done without that. They do at some point start to break, the elastic inside will separate and pop out.

Originally bought the brown ties because the black were sold out. After 2 years the ties have held up great and I've used the same 2 ties pretty much every day, even when swimming. Never breaks or gets tangled in my hair. Easy to use and I love the versatility. Some may say it's a bit pricey for hair ties but totally worth it in my opinion.
