Good but not perfect
These are good but not perfect. My grandma was able to get out of these by pinning her hand under her thigh and pulling her hand out or she puts her hand behind her head then pulls her hand out. These need padding on both sides like the ones at the hospital. She wasn't able to get out of that one. If you have the one that's only padded on one side, you have to block the person using their thigh or head, just use a big thick pillow as a barrier. If they're sleeping on a bed with handrails, these come with straps that you can attach to the handrails to prevent the patient from slipping these gloves off.

They allow the hands to stay dry and healthy.
My son sucks on his hands and this causes him to vomit and his hands to become raw and sore. The mitts prevent both scenarios. He needs to wear them most waking hours. Hands stay dry and healthy. It is a little difficult to get his hands in the opening.

what kind of stupid ridiculous gloves are these
we have a 9 year severely autistic child. we bought these hoping to keep her from hitting herself and others. it takes THREE of us to try and push her hand thru the opening and then navigate the most complex system of velcro tape obstacles one could ever attach to gloves. honestly the only way to put these gloves on is if the patient were sound asleep. and even then they can still wriggle their hands out the bottom. if i could i'd demand a full refund AND a letter of apology from the sinister messed up individuals that came up with this glove design!

Just not a good "fit"
First of all, these things are toooo thick. It is really hard to get the hand of an ailing person into the glove because there is just not enough "clearance," especially with a hand that is not stiff like cardboard. It was nearly impossible to get his hand in. The velcro was a nightmare...there was a ton of it and both of the caregivers and I struggled to get the gloves fastened. We must not have done well because he had one off both nights we used them. May work for some folks, but not us.
