Anyone know how the handle is threaded? Or what thread size? I have one of these welded to a bumper but the pin is bent. I want to replace the pin

Standard thread. Hold the base of the pin and unscrew the handle. Internals will fall out from there. Best to order the entire unit and swap out the internals.

Dose it having a locking position where the pin is not engaged

No it dosent. The pin is spring loaded and does not lock
