Samsung Galaxy A3 SIM-Free Smartphone - Black

I ordered the phone through a uk supplier ,the delivery date was a few days ,so it was'nt coming from hong kong !So far the phone is very good ,did my research though ,was going to buy an a5 because of the higher specs but i went to the ee shop and handled both phones ,and it was too big ,so got the a3 ,i have come from an s3 mini so this is a much better and quicker phone ,so far so good.I have had the phone a couple of days now and it is very good ,I upgraded my sim to a 4G plan ,and it is excellent , 38 mega bit ps, that's faster than my fiber optic broadband ,And It's So Smooth ,My Work mates Have IPhone 5,s this phone is much better in my opinion .Update :still very good phone for £200,Does everything i need it to do very fast ,battery is pretty good.Had this phone since april now and it's excellent no issues whatsoever.

Loving this, more than powerful enough for the typical user. Camera is good enough, I'm not a heavy camera user.Battery has been decent for a month so far, the power saving options are incredible...the super saver sets your phone to basic functions only and makes everything black and white...adds a day on to the battery after hitting the last 6% of normal battery! Very useful.Best part of all is the size and build, it feels good and strong, it's not too big - way more friendly than all the flagships out there.By far the best value out there, strong enough tech. to handle all the apps, cheaper so you don't have to faff with gimmicky features of the flagship phones.

Overall, a well designed mid-range phone that has a premium look and feel.Positives - really bright screen with deep colour saturation, good enough pixel resolution for everyday use and a perfectly acceptable camera. Android works smoothly and seamlessly too and there is plenty of on board memory for all my files, pictures and apps. Good value for money considering looks and spec.Negatives - poor battery life (only just squeezed a day out of it on my light use) and the size, for me, is at the absolute maximum for comfortable one handed use. Extended use got uncomfortable.A couple of other minor, personal niggles in that the keyboard punctuation keys and position of the back/multifunction buttons are back to front compared to my old Sony, made it a hard phone for me to live with on a day-to-day basis.Overall, a perfectly decent phone, just not for me.

Really like this phone - looks good, and is the right size for me (I find larger phones a bit cumbersome).Good battery life, nice sound quality for MP3s and has an FM radio which works well (I listen to the radio a lot, so like to have one in the phone rather than carry about something separate).The performance is good, and there's a microSD slot which I prefer for storing images - if the phone gets smashed or otherwise breaks before it's synced its photo's to the cloud, there's at least a sporting chance that you can retrieve them from the card (probably doesn't hold true if you enable encryption for the card, but even then nice to be able to add plenty more storage space).It handles calls and texts well too, as you'd hope!

I purchased this Samsung Galaxy A3 phone in black as my previous Samsung Galaxy was a couple of years old and the battery was not lasting long despite replacing it, so thought it was about time to buy a new phone.As I have had a Galaxy in the past it is pretty similar in its features so I have found it quite easy to use as it is familiar. It is a lot thinner and lighter than my old phone and although the screen is bigger, it is not too big. I like the bigger screen as I feel I will be able to do more on the phone rather than using my laptop all of the time.It comes with a lot of software pre installed, although I have since added lots more apps from the play store.It has an 8MP camera which is plenty for the family photos I take, and it also has a flash and some different camera modes.It does take a smaller sim card but I have ordered one from my provider for free.Overall I really like the feel of this phone and am looking forward to using it more.

I bought this for my wife after we both had been using a Windows Lumia 640.I changed my Lumia for a Samsung J5 ( I prefer the bigger screen with a J5 at 5 inches) and bought the smaller A3 for my wife who prefers a smaller screen. Another colleague of mine had also ditched the Lumia 640 and bought the A3.As I mentioned in my J5 review, being back to Android is brilliant. Android is just so much slicker, and things work better plus far more apps for Android compared to Windows phones.My colleague has been running the A3 for a few weeks now and loves it. My wife has just started using it over the last few days and so far so good.I am very pleased with the phone and recommend it.

Good looking phone with a nice feel in the hand. It is slow at times to respond to different actions (active application button). Overall a good phone which is easy to use.

This phone was the right size for me and I initially loved it,but. I found the amount of pre-installed irremovable "bloat ware" too aggravating to live with. I liken it to purchasing a shopping bag and find it comes partially filled with someone else's shopping that I can't remove and don't want to use anyway. Sooooo annoying for such a nice little (by todays standards) phone. Thankfully Amazon took it back.

Buen funcionamiento, tamaño muy cómodo, pesa poquísimo y diseño muy conseguido. Estoy muy contento, es precioso, no tiene el típico diseño "redondón" a los que nos tiene aconstumbrados Samsung, tiene el estilo del iPhone 5S pero con más pantalla, menos peso, por supuesto, cuesta la mitad y más actualizado. Muy recomendable.

Personalmente amo l'A3. Il prodotto funziona perfettamente, consegna impeccabile e nulla da segnalare ad eccezione di un particolare: la scheda sim deve essere europea.

Lo elegí por su relación calidad-precio después de leer algunas recomendaciones. Antes había tenido un Samsung Galaxy S3 pero ya no se actualizaba el sistema operativo. El A3 es bastante rápido, tiene todas las funciones básicas y bastante espacio (16 Gb). La cámara es ligeramente peor que en el S3 pero con una calidad más que aceptable. Sólo llevo dos semanas con él pero me parece un magnifico sucesor del S3 si no quieres una pantalla demasiado grande ni virguerías como el reconocimiento de huella dactilar.

Ottimo smartphone in rapporto a qualità e prezzo.Molto bello anche da vedere con il corpo in metallo...veloce nelle applicazioni...ottima scelta....lo consiglio a tutti...

Après deux achats successifs de ce smartphone qui ne tenait pas la charge, nous sommes enfin satisfaits de ce troisième essai !! La batterie tient bien la charge, enfin !!! Cela fait un mois d utilisation, tout fonctionne correctement...on n y croyait plus et pourtant !! C aurait été dommage de ne pas réitérer ! Bon produit !
