This switch module is very compact and allows you to control the motor of a roller shutter and measure its energy consumption.With this module, you can control 2-phase motors, such as motors in rolling shutters, blinds, garage doors, gates, Venetian blinds, etc. Its connectors let you connect 2 switches (or a switch with up/down/neutral positions).The power system connected to this module is therefore controllable both locally and remotely via the Z-Wave Plus wireless protocol. It has a Z-Wave Plus radio transmission chip, which lets you enjoy the new features offered by the Z-Wave Plus controllers, while also taking advantage of the full compatibility with the previous generation of Z-Wave controllers. It is available in packs of 5 modules. Installation is very simple and lets you connect 2 switches.You can connect the module to all types of power supply.The module operates at temperatures between -10°C and 40°C. It is economical and environmentally-friendly: its own power consumption is less than 0.4 W and it constantly measures the instant energy used (in watts) and total consumption (in kWh).Thus, consumption data can easily be collected without additional costs and equipment, allowing you to be vigilant about your energy costs. NB: this module requires neutral to operate.This is not potential-free: the output current delivered is the same as the current that powers the unit, i.e. 230 VAC or 30 VDC.
