Milton 2760-50D - Steel Dual Arm Auto-Retractable Air Hose Reel, 3/8" x 50 ft. Rubber Hose - 300 Max PSI , Black

This is really well built. It rolls out and retracts easily. I am quite pleased with it. Remember to order a short jumper if installing it near your air line terminus. The inlet is female NPT. For three days I had a 50' section of hose connecting the quick connect and the hose reel. I bought a 4' jumper locally that seems to be working fine, but it would have been far more convenient if I had ordered one to be delivered with the hose reel.

The Milton air hose reel is really well built. Yes it's heavy, but that's what makes it strong. The dual arms are one of the reasons I chose this model. Another reason is the 12 position locking mechanism. It's actually two separate 6 position (12 total), but that's more than many others with some having only four (eight total). The return spring is nice and strong and works smoothly. I can't think of one item that was a disappointment. Just make sure to mount it securely.I added pictures of the Ironton universal hose reel swivel bracket that I used. It fits great and makes the application nice for wall mounting with this Milton 3/8" x 50' air hose reel.

The media could not be loaded. I’m replacing them all. I’m to tied of maintenance these pieces of junk. The swivels leak, the hoses don’t last, the reels are all bent so the locking mechanism only works on a few teeth and and the pawl on 4 of them has chipped away to the point of not locking at all and had to be replaced. Such a garbage product. I’m replacing all 6 today.

Been wanting one of these for quite a while and finally found the one I liked. Paid a little more, but it was definitely worth the extra cost. This thing is bad ass and I love the dual arm construction. Easy install and works like a dream. Only wish I would of bought it sooner. I would highly recommend the Milton! It's awesome!

This hose reel has a very good retraction spring and the hose is of very high quality. I purchased a Milton lead-in hose to go with it (Milton should consider including it). Milton 2760-3LH Air Leader Hose, 3/8" x 3 ft. Rubber Hose - 1/4" NPT Brass Ends - 300 Max PSII rearranged the feed roller piece to point toward the floor and mounted the reel to my garage ceiling surface (2x12 nailed between two joists). Works great!My only reason for giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the fittings leaked badly where the hose connects to the center swivel. Wasn't this leak-tested when it left the factory?! I had to re-seal these fitting joints and don't totally trust that they will not leak again with temperature swings in my garage. Right now, they're holding air with daily use.

We recently purchased a 50 ft. Milton hose reel with air hose, and mounted it on the ceiling of our garage.(How many years have I fumbled with, swore at, and expressed other frustrations with the hose from our garage air compressor! Always seemed to be tangled, not easy to re-coil, store.)Now we simply pull out the length of hose we need, do our work with it, and allow the hose to neatly retract, automatically, back into the ceiling-mounted reel!Fill tires on all our vehicles, whether in the garage, our parked outside. The 50 feet length of hose is perfect! Using air tools anywhere in the garage is really simple, now!We should have installed one years ago!The hose reel is a little on the heavy side, but I was able to use a rope hoist with a 7:1 mechanical advantage to lift the reel to the ceiling, then locate pre-drilled holes for mounting screws. In retrospect, installation would have gone easier with 2-men. It has our recommendation!

Reel arrived bent. Paint chipped on bend marks. I’ve bent it back and painted to match. Also because of the reelbend, Inner C clip was not in groove. So the reel was offset and lock would not operate. I was dissatisfied as the box had been previously opened. But after tooling around I got it to work well. Not sure this was a shippers issue.

I ordered 6 of these hose reels for my shop. 1 of the 6 had a faulty leaking fitting as soon as I hooked it up. amazon replaced it with another unit. after a month one of the air lines has bubbled up and started popping and now leaking. and the 3rd one has bolts falling out. (easy fix little loctite) so 3/6 have had issues in some way shape or form. I give it 2 stars because I do like the hose reels. disappointed that they've had problems and seem be failing already.
