A friend come over to take care of me after my surgeries she brought her throw because she wanted me to wash it. I fell in love with it to the point I wanted one for my couch. Love my pair of throws to cover our bodies in the recliners while watching TV! At first they shed all over the rug and I was close to returning them, however I washed them on low cycle and dried on low heat and now they’re perfect! Very soft and just big enough!

Color is beautiful and it’s a warm blanket, but it sheds, on me, the rest of the bedding, and the floor. I spent a lot of time with clean up and washing my sheets and comforter. I’ve purchased Berkshire for years without issue. Berkshire you can do better. I didn’t want to give it to anyone, such an embarrassment to give away a blanket only to shed in someone else’s home. I tossed it in the trash.

I’ve owned 4 of this brand blanket and it’s all we ever buy!! They are so soft and plush and no matter how many washes they stay that way!! The gold color I got is so beautiful in person and for the price, you really can’t beat these blankets. They also make great gifts, who doesn’t love receiving a blanket??

I picked up this blanket at Home Goods in a different color and spent the next three months desperately searching for another. It is hands down the softest blanket you can buy. It is like sleeping in clouds! It's lightweight but cozy. I have ordered a few on the brand's website and they weren't the same- I just happened to find this one while searching and this was the exact blanket!! Great for a gift but better for your bed, couch, recliner- wherever you want to be comfy cozy! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

I got this for my friend because he wanted a new blanket. Blanket was so good that his mom tried to take credit and he corrected her.I was told it is very soft and a good material. It does have a little of a shedding phase like lots of soft blankets I think (only reason why not 5 starts I think).The color and softness are amazing and I got it for a good price too.

When you first receive this blanket, it’s so silky and smooth and soft, albeit way thinner than I thought it would be for the price and from this brand. After sleeping with it the first night, I noticed the excessive shedding…like our bedroom was just covered in this blankets fuzz! So I washed it…however, I knew based on the thinness and fluffiness of this blanket (as opposed to some heavier 100% polyester blankets that are silky but not fluffy) that it would probably act like faux Sherpa and get rough on me if I used heat, so I washed it on a gentle cycle with cold water and a little soap. Then I threw it in the dryer on a low tumble air dry (AIR DRY, so no heat whatsoever) and, of course, it came out way less fluffy. AND it continued to shed like crazy. After a third wash, the shedding is not as bad all over, but it still is on my side of the bed…the only reason I can think is due to my more calloused feet and prickly leg hair from shaving. So, unless you wear long pants and socks to bed and don’t mind the texture of slightly matted Sherpa, than this blanket isn’t for you. The color is pretty and it’s nice and big, plenty space on all sides for me and my husband in a king bed…but I wouldn’t spend $40+ on it again. So we’re still in search of a 100% polyester blanket that rivals Costco in thickness, smoothness, and no change in texture after washing (and you can even wash and dry the one from Costco with heat)

Since we got this it has really literally shed on everything! Everything we wear has green lint on it and not just a little bit. My daughter went to school everyday for months with lint all over her I’m not exaggerating! It’s so soft beautiful and comfortable but it isn’t worth it.
