My wife has gone through many hair straighteners ranging in price from $30 to $250. The only reason I gave this a 4 star review is if you compare this to the $250 straighteners, you may be disappointed. In terms of value, however, this is a 5 star product for $30. This straightener feels very light and plasticky, but at this price point that is what your expectations must be. The plates are very nice which is obviously an important feature. The cons on this product would be its overall feel and it does take longer than the higher priced ones to heat up. Once again, if you are expecting $250 features on a $30 straightener, then I would not recommend this for you. Now the pros. You can't beat the price. The value is there. It does have an auto shutoff which is very important because if you are like my wife, she forgets to turn it off. The temperature reading is digital and can be in Celsius or Fahrenheit. It get the job done. If are need a straightener that gets the job done at a very good price, I would definitely recommend you give this one a try. If you need a heavy, higher quality straightener that heats up very fast, you are in the wrong price range.

When you clamp the flat iron onto your hair, the plates only meet in the middle and not all the way across making it impossible to flatten your hair. It only "grabs ahold" of a few strands of hair and even then it doesn't slide across your hair, it pulls your hair.

I’m not sure that all these reviews are real so this is an honest review from a real customer. This is an OK flat iron. It’s lightweight but feels kind of cheap. I don’t mind because it is an inexpensive iron. It has a nice digital display that you can switch between C and F. The lock function switch is a bit difficult to maneuver. I have not tried to adjust the plates but the packaging says you can. It has a nice sleek look and the hot pink plates are really cute. It also heats up quickly. The plates are kind of sticky. They don’t glide through the hair easily. It does the job though.

Have used many different brands from very high ends to lower end price flat iron hair straighteners. Between my two daughters and myself each of us needs their own straighteners. All 3 of us have diff types and thickness of hair. In last 15 yrs of using flat irons on my hair this one has given me the best results. It’s light weight, easy instructions to follow, convenient settings and temperature control. Since it’s light weight and heats up super fast I get the same or better results in less time. Love love love this flat iron. Highly recommend.

I would prefer not to have to wear a glove when fixing my hair. The tip on this iron gets extremely hot. Ended up going back to my old one - good ole Revlon tip doesn’t get hot.

The style of it was horrible and cheap and I’m one for buying cheaper straighteners, but it was bad like the part that straightens your hair is plastic didn’t grab my hair again it ripped my hair out I couldn’t do it. I returned it. I do have shorter hair though, so maybe it’s different for somebody with long hair or thicker but that doesn’t get past that it’s cheap so you’re definitely buying paying what you get for but I know other straighteners that are around that price that are better. I think if they just change the plates on it that straighten your hair, it would be better.

Arrived quickly, I like that the cord swivels so it can lay flat and I don't have to worry about the side sitting on the counter. Heats up quickly. I like that it has more than 1 heat setting.Reads in Celsius 180 up to 230. The glove is good for not burning yourself when there is an accidental quick brush of the flat iron plates. The clips that come with it work well with thin short hair. Happy with my purchase.
