This is not a negative unto itself but I am marking the review down because it is not mentioned in the product description, and with it being quite cheap it will attract people who perhaps have not used cast iron cookware before and will use it raw (judging by some of the photos!). There are plenty of YouTube videos which explain the process so I won’t go into it, but I found two coats of vegetable oil sufficient. Also it is quite a scruffy casting with some rough edges and imperfections throughout from the casting process.
