I don’t make a habit of writing reviews, but this is the ultimate tool for making smash burgers and I simply have to tell you about it.When you get this in your hand, you will understand. Very weighty, super sturdy and it just feels like quality. The handle is made from some really grippy silicone which is also heat proof - so you can leave it near high heat and you don’t need to worry about burning yourself.Slap a meatball on the grill and you can push down hard on the handle without bending the spatula at all. The stainless steel feels reinforced and it will take an absolute beating. You want to be able to rely on this tool for smashing burgers properly, it’s mostly all in the press and you’re able to do that efficiently with Hells Handle.Possibly the best part about this spatula is the fact that each edge, left, right and front are beveled down and razor sharp. Some reviewers complain that they cut themselves so be careful. However, you’ll soon learn to love this as it makes scraping the burger from the chapa so easy and very satisfying all at the same time.All in all, a very well thought out tool. Sturdy, durable and should last a lifetime of delicious burgers. It’s exactly the right size too. Smashing.

This is the perfect tool for making smash burgers, which all those that understand burgers know are the only burgers worth making. This thing is the perfect size and built solid so you can smash good sized patties thin to get a good quick crust while the inside stays juicy.

Brilliant... My Son is a chef and has gone through many spatula's when smashing burgers... This one is strong and well made. Just one thing... It could have been packaged better... It was just loose in a box with other items ordered and my Son cut his finger on the edge when he removed it! Really, it should have had its own packaging and perhaps a warning that the edges were extremely sharp when new.

It's very sturdy and perfect for smashburgers. 6x5 inch is larger than it sounds though so just something to be aware of. :) They do have a smaller version as well.

Like others I bought this for upping my smash burger game. It's solid and big enough for the job (I got the 6x5 one).

This is one solid piece of stainless steel. You could probably smash an entire watermelon with it! Glad I decided to take a punt on one. 👍

Use this for smashing burgers and its the perfect size. Works well with cast iron and helps retain the sear for a perfect burger.
