Concept good. Sticky back tape to week to hold in place and if you have to put bends in no chance only fit for straight runs

Setup easy with piggy back attachments. Had mine on for nearly two months still works. Currently fused to my brake sensor fuse as all my light fuses are in cabin ones. I couldn't be bothered trailing the wire through the engine bay into the car. Light comes on when engine is on shutsoff when the engine is turned off after about 4mins same as fan.

Work perfectly but could do with instructions on where to cut.

What you don't get is any instructions on how to install.

Maybe this is a good LED strip for your car, if you can figure out how to connect it. You will need some additional pieces beyond what come in the package (the LED strip only, with 2 wires hanging off one end) to put this on your vehicle. I was excited when I first saw this item as I have a black colored car and drive for Uber and Lyft from time to time, almost always in the dark. I thought that having this LED strip would help people find my car easier. To use a double sided tape to stick this under your hood, you need to do a really good job cleaning the area first or it will not stay. I have used a lot of LED strips, room lights, computer lights, desk lighting, I even have a printer stand that came with them, so it is not like I have never used them before. All of those have either had battery packs or used a USB cable for power and they all came with instructions, but these LED lights don't even have everything you need to install them.Should you solder the connections? use heat shrink tubing? twist caps? what about a switch for turning them on or off without turning your car off? If you work on cars, or do your own car maintenance you may be good to go to get this installed and working, otherwise I'd recommend a hard pass, at least from this seller.I do recommend if you do get it, to place it on the car frame, not on the hood of your car, since you will have wires coming off of one end, plus it will look the same when the hood is closed...

Absolutely NOT "plug and play" as described. I'm not a "car guy" but I figured, if I follow the instructions, how hard can it be? Guess what? NO INSTRUCTIONS. Really??? The picture shown in the listing has some kind of plug or adaptor or something, but mine came with just two bare wires. What am I supposed to do with those? All they had to do was included one sheet of paper with basic instructions as to where to connect the wires. But nope. Also, I'm thoroughly confused by the sticky strip being on BOTH sides. Why? I get it, I peel off one side to stick it to my car. But if I peel off the other side, it's just exposed and everything around will stick to it. If I don't peel it off, it will block the lights. I'm baffled. Once again, something a simple set of instructions would have covered. The description of the item makes vague references to connecting to mystery items like ACC or DRL. The description also says connect to high beam or low beam. OK, great. How the heck am I supposed to do that? Right now I have an item that is completely useless to me. Glad it was free.
