What is this Wizardry...?
I bought this harness, pretty much as I was getting to my wits end with my very energetic, <1 year old Springer Spaniel.I'd tried a number of different leads to try to prevent him from pulling, with different degrees of success. It was becoming a problem with making walks hard work, to the point that I was suffering pain in my shoulder from constantly trying to bring my dog 'to heal'!My wife had reached the point of not walking him anymore....it was causing issues suffice to say.So, I took a punt on this in desperate hope.Setting the collar and 'straps' is fairly intuitive, but the (multi-language) instructions do their job too.Putting the harness on my dog is a bit of a challenge, as soon as he knows he's going out he gets excitable. But once on, he settled well, after a spell of inquisitive biting at the various straps.I clipped on the matching lead, and headed out for an experimental walk.....from almost the first step (and I mean this truly), I knew I'd made the right choice. The lead works.....almost magically (dramatic as that may sound), as the dog tries to get ahead, the straps under his fore-legs "pull inwards" preventing him from running, pulling ahead.....once he got used to the idea, that was it.....a quiet, sedate, peaceful 5 mile walk with absolutely no pulling.... really! The walk was enjoyable again, no stress, no strain, just a happy dog, and an amazed owner.I would wholeheartedly recommend this harness (and lead), if you've reached the end of your tether (pun is intended!).Persevere with fitting this, and your walks will be transformed.I hope this helps you make your decision on the next lead/collar/harness you choose!

Satan has met his match....
Ok so its no secret that Satan the Patterdale terrier has been sent from the actual devil himself to wreck havoc on my life and makes me want to rip my own hair out when we step out of the house. Walk time has always revolved around Satan, he has now been subjected to the extendable lead most walks as he always runs off and I end up having a mini heart attack worrying about him - although I'm sure he doesn't give a s*** about me. When I let him off I have to mentally prepare myself and constantly watch him, if you look away for a split second he grasps the opportunity with both paws and off he goes into the distance. Anyway, I realise this isn't a therapy group and I'm meant to be leaving a review. Satan yanks my arm, hurting my shoulders, literally takes you for a walk. So let me set the scene, the harness isn't a bulky thing so I was sceptical about how it would contain the beast but hey ho I was prepared to give it the benefit of the doubt. I spent a while fitting it to Satan, all the time he was getting excited about the carnage he was about to cause on his walk. So we were finally ready, I took a deep breath and out we went, as soon as we stepped out the door I felt the difference, he went to pull and no word of a lie he looked at me with a look of sheer disgust, I'm sure I saw the fire burning in his eyes, this harness literally stops him from pulling.....hallelujah! I'm not sure how it does it but it somehow stops his legs, its like magic. I'm enjoying our walks a lot more now and I strongly recommend you invest in one of these if you too have an unruly dog like mine. Just buy it, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Took a punt and pleasantly surprised
Didn't really expect this to work as I'm going to be brutally honest he may look cute in a santa hat but he's a total bellend out on walks. The list of things that make him pull is long and includes the usual cats, pidgeons and any small dog that looks like a chew toy. Now I'm going to whisper this omg it works. The very first time I took him out he didn't even attempt to pull he walked like a dream and was like a new dog (he isn't I checked) and a few days later when we saw a local typical cat (you now the sort.. I'm a cat n I'm hard il kill u in ya sleep) he instantly tried to pull and was stopped in his tracks, what followed was a dirty look and we then carried on with our walk. I have tried several harnesses, head halti and martingale collars and at last I've found something that works. Harness is great quality and feels strong and there's plenty of length to extend to go over his coat, the only one thing I find annoying is the pads that go under his arm pits (legs) move and he notices and starts to try to bite them, I've solved this by simply positioning them correctly and popped a few stitches through them and now they don't move. All in all I'm very pleased and so is maverick.

Springer spaniel
My springers are pullers. So much so your arm is fully outstretched each walk. I've tried Haiti however it was just cruel and the dogs looked on pain with the stress on their heads. I thought I'd give this a go with it being non invasive. One walk latest and I'm very impressed. They wanted to pull but realised they couldn't but they still had some freedom. If I have one criticism it can be a little fiddly to put on. Definitely give it a go!

Works well
We have an absolutely crazy border collie, he's almost 5 now and we go on regular walks. He has always pulled! No amount of training has been able to stop it....We tried a muzzle type anti pull lead and that worked for a while until he decided he'd had enough and began scratching and clawing it to get it off his nose, he always succeeded. He can't get this off, he hasn't even tried, it's not uncomfortable as he would have let us know and it works!!
