Very Effective and Reliable!
I highly recommend these. They are very heavy duty, easy to set, and work extremely well! I have caught 3 moles so far, and have never had a false trip. I prefer these over the plunger spike type, it is very easy to see when the trap has sprung. When set, it lays close to the ground and does not create an eyesore when left out. The tangs grab into the mole without cutting it in half. The only thing to be aware of is that these springs are very strong, releasing the mole after extraction may take some strength.

Best mole trap but set it correctly and you will have success!
Best mole trap! I've tried everything and sick of paying for poisons, sitting watching for mole movement for hours, running the hose forever to flood them out (never works for me), other traps. But this trap worked for me right away. I had that mole within an hour! You have to make sure to set it correctly (push your foot straight down on the tip of the pedal not on the pedal like a gas pedal). Also make sure the pressure foot is on the ground flat. Yes, the mole was still alive but I came with a hand shovel and bucket and a quick konk on the head and they are gone. Make sure to wiggle the trap before you remove it. If you follow the steps correctly, it is easy and very well made! I got one for my son and son-in-law too and they can't wait to use them.

Does exactly what it is supposed to as long as you are patient!
What:"Upgraded Mole Trap Scissor, Mole Traps for Lawns That Kill Best, Easy Step Setup" (just one)Why:I struggled with moles tearing up my yard, killing my grass, and damaging my landscaping. I already tried reducing their food source (put down beneficial nematodes), repelling them with some electronic, solar-powered stakes, and deterring them with a castor oil based solution applied to the tunnels, mounds, and throughout the area they were most active. While it seemed like there was some change by doing those three things, after about two months of trying, the moles continued to cause more damage than I could overlook.Pros:- It actually works, just be patient and move the trap every 8-12 hours until you get your target- Steel construction is durableCons:- The "base plate" bar pivots making it easy for the trap to slant to one side or the other when stepping on the trap to set it.- When stepping on the trap to set it, it usually presses into the ground too far (the base plate is a bit low) which puts too much pressure on the trigger plate causing the trap to go off immediately or shortly after setting it.- The springs are very stiff which can make removing the mole after the trap has gone off a bit tricky. It will be difficult to do if you don't have good hand strength.Notes:What worked for me to set the trap was:1. Press the disengaged trap into the tunnel as far as I could by hand (so the jaws open across the tunnel, not parallel with it).2. Step on the trap to set it while trying to keep it from slanting off to one side or the other until it is set.3. While still holding the set trap with my foot, hold the trap engaged with my hands before removing my foot.4. With my hands, center the trap back up and then pull the trap slightly up until the trigger plate can move a little by hand with light contact with the ground/grass.5. Slowly let go of the trap and wait 8-12 hours before moving it.Overall:This trap absolutely works if you are patient and moving the trap around to different tunnels 2-3 times a day. There were several occasions where the mole would just go around the trap and a few times where the trap went off without a mole passing by (probably due to the trap being pressed too far into the ground). After 2-3 days of moving the trap around, I was successful in getting the first mole. I then waited several days to see how things went. Then a second mole started tearing up the same landscaping the first one did so I set the trap again. After just 2 days, I got it.If you have already tried multiple other methods to try and get the moles out of your yard, then I can recommend this trap. However, I don't believe this should be your first option and highly encourage trying other methods first.

Trap caught the mole in two days. We recommend this product.
We had a mole destroying our front yard. Originally, we hated the idea of killing it, so we tried different things to get it to leave. We bought solar powered devices that emitted noises but that didn't work, it was making tunnels right next to the devices. We tried products that would have smells that the moles hate, but those didn't work. Then, we tried some poison pellets but that didn't work either. This device worked perfectly in two days! It was easy to set up after watching the video. The mole had made clear tunnels that were visible from the top of the lawn and that's where we put the traps. We recommend this product and, in the future, will not bother with the other methods. The traps were easy to set. They seem sturdy and we will keep them in case moles come back.

Safe, easy to set and effective
Wow that was fast. We have been totally infested by moles in both our front and back yards. We started off trying a castor oil granular product that we spread all over the yard. No change. Then we bought the solar powered ultrasonic repeller stakes that make noise to run them off. Nope. Still tunneling although the neighbors wondered why we had 5 stakes beeping all over the yard every 30 secs. Finally decided to try these as a last resort. They arrived before lunch. We watched several videos with tips on the best way to set them. Once we got them set, we had success within a few hours. They are fairly easy to set up, seem to be built well and effectively eliminate the pest. My advice is skip all the other ways to repel them and just use these traps.

Easy to use, worked great! Got our mole in under 9hrs!
I set the two traps in what appeared to be obvious main runs to me. I also stomped down a few other spots and marked them with cheap marking flags that you can buy, so that I could re-check those for activity later. I am not 100% sure when I got him, but I had my first mole in under 9hrs. These worked great!! If you don't have luck, spend more time assessing the yard and locating longer tunnels that seem to have smaller ones branching off from them.

Effective but Hard to use
These traps are effective. Got my mole quickly and effectively. However, it was all I could do to get them set, and then it was nearly impossible for me to get the trap to release the dead mole.

Effective , good quality , easy to use
Effective , did as expected, set trap . No set up just easy peasy, placed on mole track, waited 2-3 days thought maybe not working or mole in different sector and then it got him . Nice quality construction, galvanized steel won’t degrade easily
