Would not buy again.
The title says Unlimited 4G LTE, but they dont mention that its 2GB high speed then it throttles down to 128 kbps, you can’t even run google maps properly at that speed so it is pretty much useless after that. 5GB high speed is a minimum for travelling all day with Maps on, social media, music etc.Would not buy again. I would buy some other pack that offers more.

Ok to use - doesn't really work for personal hotspot
The eSIM was easy to install (used an iPhone 14 Pro Max), the setup and the APN all were done automatically after scanning the QR code. However, the connection didn't really work too well in the beginning (my Tmobile Softbank roaming showed 4+ bars, while the M-Air (the VMNO this company is using) is either 0-1 bar. This was during my Shinkansen ride up to Aomori from Tokyo. After arriving to Aomori, I had more time, so I did a reset, and M-Air started to work properly. The speed was ok, not amazing, but 8-20mbps, fast enough for daily normal usage. The personal hotspot option, however, never popped up unless I switch my data from M-Air to my TMobile connection.I also did try to hook up my iPhone to my laptop via a USB connection, but the ability to connect to the M-Air hotspot never worked for me. I also had a pocket wifi I rented (wife insisted), so I didn't bother trying too much or reach out to the customer service.Overall, it's simple enough to use, but the hotspot never worked for me and the speed is just ok. In the future, I would likely revert back to using T-Mobile's 5GB free and also continue to rent a hotspot.

It works with iphone 14 and 15
I bought two cards for my daughters’ trip to Japan. They worked well on iphone 14 pro and 15 pro. I also bought Tmobile 10 days International Pass as a backup. The phones allow you to use Tmobile and the eSim at the same time. You just need to select what line to use for a specific app. For voice and SMS use Tmobile line, for google map and other internet access app, select eSim line. According to my daughter, once you arrived at the Tokyo airport, scan the QR code and activate the sim card online. You do need internet access in order to activate the eSim card.

Very spotty connection on iPhone 15
I was just back from a trip in Sapporo and Tokyo. I followed the instructions, on iPhone 15 pro, to download esim, install the certificate, and config the APN. It worked sometimes but about half of the time it didn't have data connection. It had problems in both Sapporo and Tokyo. I ended up having to connect to my husband's hotspot to have a reliable internet connection.
