Q: Can you put this in a dish washer?

The wood parts of this product are made of natural wood. Natural wood parts may swell when washed in a dishwasher. It may also crack and crack. Therefore, please do not use the dishwasher.

Q: Do you think it would be good for warming milk while using a handheld frothing wand?

Hmmm, I would say yes just because it's such a good quality product that it's lasted me since 4/2015 with hardly a scratch (almost immediately I got a tiny chip at the junction between the handle and the main body that doesn't expose the metal underneath and hasn't gotten any worse since it happened). I would just caution maybe to try to "suspend" the wand in the milk and avoid hitting the walls or bottom of the pan as much as possible? I do take care of it, wash it with a green pad at most or rub Barkeeper's Friend with my fingers only if milk or the exterior gets burned, but I've heard my husband use metal utensils when warming my milk and, again, it's held up amazingly well.

The bottom of the pot is stamped Noda Hora - made in Japan. I trust the seller.

Q: Does it have a pouring lip like other warmers?

The pan has a pouring lip and a little dimple for a spout. We use the pan for warming milk, and the spout works well for slow pouring. You have to use wood or plastic tools for stirring, because metal could scratch the enamel.
