This is a great pither. It is a nice size for one or two people. You can lift and pour with one hand and the lid stays on. It does not leak at the lid like earlier models. More importantly, it makes water taste much better. All in all, much higher quality than earlier models. I'm very happy with my purchase.

We're getting a lot of use out of this PUR water filter pitcher in our RV and at home. Water quality varies from campground to campground and our Golden Retriever likes rain water the best. Sometimes there is too much chlorine or who knows what so we started using this pitcher which fits our RV refrigerator door shelf instead of buying bottled water which is heavy and bulky to store. Garth (our dog) likes it and so do we. Watch that the top cover doesn't fall off when you pour water out otherwise it's good quality. Filters don't last long depending on how much you use it but it works and it's convenient. It isn't for bacteria but it does more than the other brand. Garth hasn't gotten sick since we started using it.

Takes too long to fill and the filters are rather pricey for only two months of use. But the water is delish so I put up with it.

So I made a mistake and put the internal piece that holds the filter in backward. It fits either way, but I didn't realize it at the time. Therefore I was having problems with the lid sealing correctly. I called their customer service number and got a Real Live Person! I told her the lid wasn't fitting correctly and she gently informed me of my error. She said she knew right away, they get the call for this misunderstanding often. After I turned the internal part around, of course the lid nice fit. I want to brag on the product, which is great, AND the efficient and kind customer service.

Works fast. Water seems to taste better.

I recently purchased this water pitcher and it has exceeded my expectations! As someone who is conscious about the quality of water I consume, this pitcher has become an essential part of my daily routine. I noticed a significant improvement in the taste and odor of my tap water after using this pitcher. The multi-stage filtration system effectively removes impurities, chlorine, and other contaminants, leaving me with crisp, clean water every time. It's a game-changer for making a perfect cup of coffee or tea! One of the things I appreciate about this pitcher is its user-friendly design. The lid opens easily for quick refills, and the filter replacement process is straightforward. The electronic filter indicator is a handy feature, reminding me when it's time to replace the filter.

This pitcher has a filter change indicator that needs to be removed when you wash the pitcher. When I tried removing it (in a normal, non-aggressive way) to wash the pitcher before using it, the small plastic piece holding the indicator in place broke off. Now the whole pitcher is virtually useless, as water pours out from the small hole on the top. Very disappointed by the poor construction of this pitcher. On a separate note, the packaging on the filter I received did not say “PUR Plus, Lead Reducing Filter” on it like a previous one I have owned, it only said “PUR Plus”. Have I received something different? I had already thrown away the packaging to the pitcher, so I am not sure if I can even return it… (?)

The PUR PLUS 7-Cup Water Filter Pitcher works great! It filters out many of the things in your water you don't want to drink. My plants also love the water that comes from this PUR PLUS water filter over regular tap water! I have a 30 ounce water bottle and it gets filled up by this 7 cup PUR PLUS water pitcher. Then I just fill the PUR Plus water pitcher back up and put it in the fridge. By the time I drink my water bottle, I always have another cold water refill ready to go. It's great as the water is always cold and I no longer have to mess with ice cubes! It also fits very nicely on the bottom shelf of the fridge. Love this PUR PLUS 7 cup water filter pitcher!

Good filter, water tastes great!

Although I have to fill the pitcher more often, the taste of the water is wonderful. When filling the reservoir, don't tilt it back by accident or the water will pour out the back of the fill opening.

I was honestly impressed with the original filter that came with the product, however I was not impressed with how sometimes it could take an hour to filter. The pitcher itself feels pretty robust. I like the rubber-like handle. The top part has an electronic device clipped into it that is supposed to help track the filter replacement. Mine wasn't turning on. The instructions also say it comes out easily, and when I tried to remove it to see if I can inspect it to see if I'm missing something about making it work, the plastic that holds it onto the lid broke, so I was not able to put it back. It comes off easily if you don't plan on putting it back, I guess... Keep in mind if you do buy this, amongst the available replacement filters available in Canada are the "faster" filters, and those are terrible and do not adequately filter. It seems like I may have made a mistake buying into the Pur system, even though I do like the original filter more than Brita and the pitcher's feel more than Brita, I might have to go back to Brita or find another brand if I can't get the original Pur filters here.

Have had it for about 6 weeks now. No problems. I've trusted that Pur filters out more than brita. It was good until the past week or so but now it suddenly drips way too slow to use. I have to wait 2 hours for about 500ml to go down. I had to switch back to my brita one.
