I like this product. It goes on rather thick due to the zinc oxide, but blends in nicely. I only use it on my face since it is tinted, but I love that it goes on tan so you can really see that you got every spot. It is just a bit gritty, but I didn't find it abrasive at all, even on sunburned skin. It doesn't leave a white cast at all which is a major plus for me. I don't think it leaves a "tan cast" either, but it might and I just can't really tell against my skin tone.Personally, I appreciate the moisturizing ingredients, but I'm still going to wear a moisturizer under this. As moisturizer is meant to absorb into the skin, and sunscreen is meant to block things from absorbing into the skin, I find having both in one product to be a bit at odds. But I'll take some shea butter and avocado oil any day.I definitely felt protected - I'm in Columbia now and my face is the only part of me that's *not* burned. I would say it is one of the nicer and easier zinc oxide products I've used.

First, this does go on thick, but as it warms, it spreads nicely. I noticed a grainy texture to it initially, but that goes away as you rub it in. I have had products containing vitamin e with a similar texture in the past. The vitamin e is suspended in sort of microbeads that pop as you apply it (for freshness). There is nothing in the literature to suggest that this is the case with this moisturizer/sunscreen, but I suspect that it may be (I can't think of another reason for the texture). I am fair (natural ivory in drugstore brand cosmetics). The tint of this completely fades on me. I don't see it on, and it offers no concealing. I suspect it is just there to avoid a chalky look that mineral sunscreens often leave. My husband is olive toned and can get quite dark, especially on the back of his neck. I tried this sunscreen on him and I thought it gave him a slightly pink tone initially, but that rubbed away the more I rubbed this in. The tone of the tint is lighter than he is, but it still blended in just fine. I don't see lavender listed in the ingredients, but I think this has a slight lavender like smell. I would not in any way consider this feminine, and I think it would be just as nice for a man. It initially goes on a bit shiny, but it soaks in/dries quickly. I have worn it several times playing basketball, and it does not run into my eyes. Overall, I am happy with this. It is good for my face, neck, and chest, but far to expensive to use all over. It's a bit thicker than others, and I probably don't prefer the thickness, but it's fine. I don't think I'd buy this again as it's too costly. I do expect it'll last quite a while as it actually doesn't take much to cover my face as long as I allow it to warm a bit as I apply it.

I like this SPF is in a tube. Helps keep germs at bay. The formula is rather thick and it is in a flesh toned color. It does absorb quickly and does not feel oily…but, it is Gritty. The formula has grit in it like a facial scrub. As you continue to rub it in, the grit dissipates…but, it’s still odd feeling. It does look good on the skin and there is no white cast or flashback in photos. But, it does burn your eyes. Later in the day, I went to gently rub my eyelid and here came the burn. I’m giving this 3 stars because of the burn and the grit.

I really like this sunscreen. It goes on nicely and left my skin feeling soft. I was concerned at first because I have combination skin with a very shiny t-zone, and when first applied it felt pretty heavy and oily. I thought I would have a shiny face all day but I didn't! It dried in about a minute to a nice matte finish and stayed that way all day.It is not waterproof so for beach days I will need to use my regular sunscreen, but for daily wear, it protects my face, neck and chest from the sun and it moisturizes too, so all good!It is made in the USA with natural ingredients clearly listed. I didn't have any skin irritation from it all. I like the light scent of it too.
